Everything! Beautiful room, really comfortable bed with good pillows, fabulous shower, all in a really lovely refurbished country house.

The hosts could not have provided a better service. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds and the owners have furnished and decorated to a high standard. They were so helpful and friendly. The swimming pool was most welcome after a long car journey. Breakfast was excellent, fresh and lots of selection. I highly recommend and hope to visit again.

The Kingsize bed is made of 2 mattresses which was slightly strange to sleep.

Stunning renovation, great hosting and calm atmosphere. Highly recommend trying the food options for dinner. The pool was a very welcome addition.

Great place to stay before visiting le Futuroscope. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. They did opened the swimming pool for my daughters. The place is very relaxing. Brigitte the owner, recommended some restaurants to go to in Loudun. The room is very nice, great bathroom. We were provided with all towels, even for the swimming pool. Great breakfast with croissants, fresh orange juice (etc...) We will definitely go back again, and will recommend the place to our friends and family. Thank you again for the stay.

A signpost at the end of the drive would make the property easier to find. Sat nav and Google maps takes you to a door which is not the entry point.

Location suited us well. Pool facility was much appreciated. Room was good and excellent shower. Friendly helpful hosts. Good parking area.

Beautiful place to stay with the loveliest hosts, nothing was too much trouble especially when they opened the pool for our daughter to swim even though the weather wasn’t perfect. The rooms are so comfortable and the whole house is really nicely styled, breakfast was delicious and again nothing was too much trouble . We will definitely return and would stay for longer but in this occasion it was a stop over on our way to somewhere else. Amazing value for money and you won’t be disappointed if you go .

Everything about La Galuche is lovely. The setting in open countryside, the house garden and pool are all exceptional. It is spotlessly clean and very well appointed. Breakfast is delicious and we were very well looked after by Brigitte and Tommy. Would definitely return. One night was not enough!

Our stay at La Galuche can be described in 2 words: absolutely fabulous! A big thank you to Tommy and Brigitte for being fantastic hosts and making us feel very welcome. The B&B is spotless and has everything you can wish for. Excellent facilities. Location is very peaceful and the pool is a big bonus after a day of sight-seeing (not to forget the Belgian beers in the fridge of the outdoor lounge bar area 😀)

Brigitte and Tommy are welcoming and generous hosts. Their home and grounds are beautiful - the swimming pool looked very inviting, sadly a bit too chilly for a dip. Our room, with en suite, was very comfortable and very clean. It was extremely quiet there, plus a comfy bed made for an amazingly restful night. Breakfast next morning was fabulous - freshly squeezed orange juice, cereals, croissants, jams, fruit, cheese, salami, ham, tomatoes, bread, yoghurt, plus of course tea and coffee. We were able to put our bikes in a safe and dry barn! We are cycling the France en Velo route and La Galuche proved to be an excellent stop-over as it is virtually on the route. We highly recommend this as a place to stay and would love to return!

Leaving

We arrived after a long drive north and Brigitte invited us to dinner. Very lovely meal, good company and a pleasant way to end our short holiday in southern France. The thunder storm did not wake us!!
