The bar. The atmosphere was flat. The staff friendly but not engaging. We were offered a glass of wine through a new aerator which tasted of cleaning fluid and the head waiter declined to test the bouquet. We didn’t want to cause a scene despite the €38 bill - but didn’t feel comfortable going back to the bar. Service - there was a daily room service but there was no refresh of toiletries, coffee, water etc. There was paint sanding dust in the corridor from the lift to our room

The housekeeping service was somewhat sluggish, with the room not being attended to until 5 pm. It was only cleaned after I brought this to the attention of the reception. The bar has a pleasant ambiance, but their signature cocktails could use improvement; however, they excel at the classic ones. Unfortunately, the restaurant service is almost non-existent, a surprising drawback for a 5-star hotel. Even for a light snack, specific hours must be adhered to (e.g., no appetizers available at 6 pm, as they are served after 7 pm). Basic items like charcuterie and cheese should always be accessible, requiring only a minimal kitchen setup.

In general, the stay was enjoyable. While the spa is somewhat small, the reservation system effectively manages the crowd. The beds are notably comfortable, and the staff worked diligently to meet our needs and provide solutions.

The breakfast could possibly include a few more choices. While certainly not displeased, I would have expected a bit more from a hotel of this standing.

A beautifully renovated historic building right next to the city centre. We were looking for a stay over during our trip to Southern Europe. Troyes is a beautiful town and easy to access from the highway. The hotel offers secure parking, which is also a great plus. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was good size, clean, comfortable, and pleasant. I also very much enjoyed the bar. The city centre is a five minute's walk from the hotel and certainly a not to miss.

The marble floor in shower was fairly smooth… textured finish would have made me feel a bit more secure exiting shower area.

It’s overall modern touches and the contemporary art deco furnishings. And the beautiful shaped trees and warm lighting.

Missing A long mirror in the room. Change the handles on the cupboards, they look cheap (in my opinion!) and don't go with the room). Wish the gym was open earlier - 9.00 is useless to people who need to leave early.

This hotel was only opened in January, so still quite new. We stayed one night (on our way from Marseille to Calais) in a standard double room, I wanted the larger with terrace but they were all sold out, but in fact I had no complaints. Decent size room. Lovely bathroom (the shower head didn't work but the handset did so it wasn't an issue). Air con is good and quiet. Bed super comfy. No noise at all (I'm very noise sensitive) The building looks gorgeous and the location is central for walking around Troyes. Staff very helpful. We didn't eat breakfast so can't comment on food. We didn't have a treatment but had a look at the gym which was very compact - Technogym equipment. I would have liked to have used it but sadly it doesn't open until 9.00am.
