The wi-fi was patchy at best and the cleanliness could be a bit improved.

The staff was extremely helpful, the wellness facilities and the parking were excellent.

Altho the room was large but you could smell the humidity. In the bathtoob there was a big humidity stain. The staff was not at all flexible as regards the check in and check out times.

we were a bit caught off guard, that kids are only allowed in the pool area, if they are quiet. since that’s not possible in our case, we had to skip the pool, though we intentionally booked a place with pool in case of bad weather.

If I'm paying over £100 a night in the low season I wouldn't expect such rigid, almost aggressive, cleaning rules with a 10am checkout. Plus I would expect it to be cleaned properly, not by the previous tenants. Although the location is great for Eurotunnel bear in mind there isn't a shop anywhere near.

The rooms were lovely and the pool area looked beautiful. Nice big grounds. Very handy for Eurotunnel.

The bed was below the window and although there were curtains at the window, lights that were on outside streamed onto the pillows resulting in poor nights sleep. 160 euros for 1 night (once added in breakfast and dog)

Good location in Sangatte just 15 mins from the Channel Tunnel and 5 minutes walk to the beach. We stayed in a studio apartment with our small dog - it was functional and had everything we needed. Breakfast was OK.

If I had to make a remark, it would be that there is no mention of the covid safe pass to enter the spa facilities. The staff made no mention of it, but maybe it was because they knew we have one.

We had a great welcome with the receptionist I remember from when I was little. He got excited that I still remembered the hotel and that I decided to come back. The room was amazing, the breakfast was great and the spa facilities were absolute perfect.

In the weekend are no possiblities for a coffee near the hotel, it could be interesting to let some coffee in the studio! We took the car to Escalles to drink a coffee. There was a coffeemachine but we couldn't buy any coffee close to the hotel. Next time we will bring something from our home.

Very early checkout at 10 am. Wish I would have seen this before booking. Early close of pool area. Request on counter top from hotel to strip beds and empty all bins prior to 10 am departure. We get away to not work so hard. Perhaps a simple request to leave the rooms tidy would suffice. Also, with the very early checkout there isn’t time to strip beds and empty all bins. I would personally remove this advice to customers. The hotel has tons of potential and the staff are truly lovely. With a couple small changes focused on customer comfort it could better meet the price point.
