Excellent location, the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The property is very clean and beautifully decorated with a lot of effort going into the presentation of each room . Breakfasts were delicious . Would happily stay again

A lovely little B&B with superb facilities, very comfy and a perfect, central location. Every need catered for and lovely rooms. A lovely roof terrace where we served breakfast every day. Delicious, simple breakfast served by lovely staff. They were very helpful about what to do and see. I highly recommend it!

There’s nothing that I can fault either the property, room or service with at all! Perhaps open up in even more locations so we can have the exceptional service in even more places?!

From start to finish, Maison Fernand completely blew us away with the attention to detail and care that’s provided. Each guest is treated with so much care. The room was gorgeous, the breakfast was amazing (especially on the terrace) and I think Ahmed has really done something incredible here. Thank you so much to Kinga who went above and beyond throughout the trip, your recommendations helped make our stay so enjoyable! Absolutely loved the building in the historic heart of Bordeaux. It has been tastefully restored to preserve the beautiful period features and yet offers all modern conveniences and comforts. Kinga was an exceptional host and booked dinner for us in a very good local restaurant at short notice. She was also very helpful with our onward travel arrangements.

What a gem! We decided to travel to Bordeaux on a whim and were lucky to get a room at Maison Fernand. The location is perfect, and the room lovely. What made our stay extra wonderful was our host Ahmed and his team, it was like we were staying with a really good and attentive friend! I hope to travel to Bordeaux again some day, and if I do I will be booking a room at the Maison Fernand!

Absolutely perfect stay. If anything, the toilet was a tiny bit cramped but we made do without issue.

Wow. This may have been the best boutique hotel experience we’ve ever had. Nearly everything was perfect and there are so many additional details that made this place stand out for us. First, the location. It’s situated perfectly as a stone’s throw distance from Bordeaux’ Grosse Cloche. All the sights are within walking distance as are so many restaurants, cafes and wine bars. The square outside our window got a little bit loud on a Friday evening but the night was quiet and with the windows closed you don’t hear noise from the streets. The hosts very friendly and communicative via WhatsApp and in real life. No question or request was too much for them. The room is beautifully designed and decorated with gorgeous details and nice little extras like games, adapters for your devices, a little speaker set, a period box including a black towel (genius), a set of post cards that they will stamp and send for you after you write them, and every night a bag of fresh cannelés. So delicious and a nice added touch. Breakfast can be served on the terrace, in the downstairs common space or in your room at your time of choice. It was delicious and very sufficient, with fresh croissants and baguette every morning. Nice shower products too that smelled very good. Big fluffy towels. We could store our bags after checkout to pick them up later in the day. There were also umbrellas complimentary to use. I feel like the owners of this place must have traveled extensively because they seem to know exactly what a hotel guest needs. They provide all that and beyond. Truly exceptional and wholeheartedly recommended.

Our room was superb and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast each morning on the balcony. Kinga, our host was very attentive and was always available on hand to assist us with whatever we needed.
