The standard of the shower was a bit below what I would expect. Otherwise, all the facilities were excellent.

Loved the position near the sea. Our room was a corner room so double windows, double view. The staff were excellent, always helpful and courteous. Breakfast was very good as were the dinners at the restaurant on site.

Fantastic location in the bay of the charmante village of Cancale. We had a beautiful view on the promanade with the many small restaurants. People were very kind an helpful. The menu of the restaurant is very good price vs quality. Cancal is a very good place if you like to visit Mont Saint-Michel, Saint-Malo, Dinan, Diard, Dol-de-Bretagne, Fort La Latte, Pointe du Grouin, ...

Really wonderful people. Excellent dinner and dessert. The bed was not as comfortable as I’d hoped… The pillows should be better and the mattress should be better. Lighting could be better otherwise I just love the place.

Our room (courtyard facing) was very small and hot. I guess their cheapest room, the only one available for a last minute booking. Would not stay in it again.

Great location by the harbour. Close to restaurants, shops, bars & car park. Friendly and helpful staff. Good restaurant (although the Dover sole was overcooked).

A wonderful hotel in the harbor of Cancale overlooking the dramatic ebbing and flooding of the tides ... a reminder of the circular nature of life. We had dinner at the hotel - oysters, of course, followed by a risotto with coquilles St. Jacques ... a great treat polished off with an excellent bottle of wine ! A highly recommended stop along the Brittany Coast.

No air conditioning. If it's hot, the room gets very hot. The girl at the front desk was very unfriendly.

Our room was small and dated BUT we had a great balcony - with an awning - right over the harbor. Watching the tides change is fascinating. Public parking available in the lot nearby. Hotel has a very good restaurant, and there are lots of other options with a short walk.

Just parking was an issue, although we were lucky and managed to secure a place not too far away.

The room was lovely, overlooking the sea and located in the heart of the port area. The bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was very good value for money.

I was concerned about booking as I had booked last year but the booking was abruptly cancelled by email a few weeks later with no explanation. This left me with little time and choice to book accommodation. Customer service is not the hotel’s strong point. The hotel is nothing special and a little shabby in places but it was clean.

Location was excellent as was the view. Breakfast was very good and better than anticipated.

The lady on Reception when we arrived and checked in was not very friendly or inviting - just handed us the room key and said very little which gave us the impression of not being welcome!

We had a sea view room with balcony - the room was fairly small and a old fashioned but clean and functional and all that we really wanted. Breakfast buffet was fine and served in the large dinning room

It was very difficult to get parking close by however we were able to pull in briefly at the promenade to drop bags. As we had a roof box we couldn’t park at any of the seafront car parks due to the barriers and all were extremely busy also. We parked about 10 minutes walk away.

Small seaside hotel right on the promenade close to the restaurants and activities. Breakfast was an additional cost but good value for money. Good access by car and bike to surrounding beaches and historical sites.

The bathroom was good. However there were chipped tiles on the shower floor and evidence of mould between the tiles which could be removed with mould cleaner as it did not look very nice. We were also aware of the continuing hum of the extractor/air conditioning unit.

The location of the hotel was excellent with a marvellous view of the sea and promenade from the dining room. We ate in the hotel that evening and the meal was superb - a real treat.
