This is a hidden gem property, with unique rooms and amenities, wonderful location and premises, and lovely and friendly host. The owner provided great recommendations for activities in the area. The B&B is located in a idilic location, you will hear the church bells and the birds singing in the morning. For us it was the perfect location to disconnect and relax. Totally recommended!

We enjoyed our cosy room which is arranged over 2 levels. The bed is very comfortable and a sauna is a nice extra feature. Our host Didier was very welcoming, helped us with wine tasting bookings and directions.

Situation in Sauternes The ideas what to do in Sauternes and contact information to all restaurants in the area via WhatsUp. The personal breakfast, and that it was no problem to have non gluten bread.

Our unit had steep stairs to the (gorgeous) bathroom complete with sauna! We had no trouble with the stairs but it would be important to know that the unit #3 was on two levels. Our friends' rooms were upstairs but all on one level. So not necessarily suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

The bedrooms are elegantly furnished. Ours included a desk and a fridge. The bed was super comfortable. We had a choice of sweet or savory breakfast. The sweet version included waffles or French toast with yogurt and the savoury was boiled eggs and cheese. Lovely baguette for all and of course coffee and tea. All fresh and delicious. You could mix and match if you preferred. Our hosts were very flexible. There was a lovely courtyard between units that allowed us to meet our friends outside in the sunshine with a bottle of Sauternes and have a few amuses bouches before supper.

Having to leave!

It was delightful! sensitively restored, tastefully decorated, spacious, spotlessly clean, complementary tea and coffee bar downstairs, a lounge area with tv downstairs. Very friendly, charming and kind host. He strikes the perfect balance between being helpful & attentive but leaving you to your own devices too! Delicious breakfasts. Lots of attention to detail. We just loved it- everything in Sauternes is within walking distance. You can even walk to a couple of chateaux! Thank you for everything.

Our bedroom did not really have a window, only a door. I can imagine that it gets a bit hot in the summer. I would call this place a boutique hotel in terms of the experience - so it is super professional, but maybe less personal approach than some B&Bs. Not a criticism, just something to consider.

Very comfortable, luxurious room with all the possible amenities, spotless clean, in center of a historic village. Easy parking. Huge bathroom with double shower and own sauna.

We had the room with the sauna which was a special addition to an already perfect room! We particularly enjoyed a few drinks at the bar Petit Guinguette next door, the breakfast was superb and Pascale was the perfect host!

This has nothing to do with the room: Nevertheless: No air condition, but we knew this in advance. It was quite hot, so next time will come in september. But we'll come again. Also, on the evening we were there all restaurants were closed, so we had to drive to the next city for dinner.

The host was super friendly, we got all needed information in advance. The room was cozy, the bathtub illuminated and with bubbles, the pictures on the walls gorgeous. Breakfast was very nice. Coffe and tea available at all times. I hope that we'll come again. Only 5 minutes to Chateau d'Yquem, where you can visit the garden and vineyard without appointment.
