You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was convenient on our path. The dinner was homemade and excellent. They provided some nice amenities like a small air heater and clothes rack to dry my hand washed clothes. They even had a small power bar for extra outlets.

Hong KongNo hot water - after running shower for 5 minutes decided to have a lukewarm shower - not a good idea as it was late september.
I see a lot of negative comments about the lack of friendliness. I think it is not the case - the husband of the proprieteress is definitly dour - but it is not meant as rudeness - just the way he is. Relax, have a drink and try to speak some French ... no need to be afraid.

The owner was very friendly, and made us feel welcome. This is not a luxurious place yet a simple and effective place to rest and relax after a long day walking. We took the evening menu and breakfast next day. All reasonably priced.

United KingdomA very old tired hotel in need of upgrading. There was hot water and a comfortable bed but the food was very poor. Potatoes not fully cooked for example. It gets custom because it is on the walking route and people only stay one night.

United StatesThe host was arrogant. He thought it was funny to come up behind me and scare me. Did it four times. The back pack company by mistake delivered my pack to an other lodging. After I emailed them it was corrected no big deal grateful for their services !!!! He announced to the dining room a patronizing comment that it had been my lapse. Anyway he is the solo stand out of a non hospitable guest. Each and every host, shop owner has been lovely. An other local mention his rudeness to me not knowing my experience. The hostess in the dining room was very warm and gracious .
The location and the hostess in the restaurant was very kind.
