There is a deposit which was not mentioned on booking.com which came as a complete surprise. It's a lot but it was all returned ok once I had left the house clean and tidy. The cleaning fee was also waved as I cleaned up myself.

Great value for money. Booked a second week direct. Less money and bigger house. For the same price per night as staying at a hostel where you get a bunk with others here I got a house to myself. Wow!

The toilet was separate from the bathroom in a little cupboard with no sink ! We stayed previously in one of the other properties that had the toilet in the bathroom which was much better

Better than expected. Last reviews were discouraging, but we had no problems neither with the apartment nor the personnel. Apartment was clean, and well enough equipped. Yes, you need to put the sheets to the bed yourself but so what: that's mentioned and not a big deal. Center of the beautiful Montignac is close (15 minute walk) and you don't need to drive to the heart of the town.

Would have prefered to have just a shower as the bath was very narrow.

We were travelling for work so did not use the pool but will take bathing suit if I return next year. The complex was very well laid out, it was quiet and the accommodation was very clean and confortable. Will book again when in the area.

Sofa in lounge was uncomfortable as it is a sofa bed. Although the accomodation sleeps four , it would be a bit cramped, although perfect for two.

Well equipped and clean accomodation with comfortable beds and everything we needed. The site was immaculate and staff friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was excellent, always clean and quiet. Private patio with garden furniture. There is so much to see and do in the area with numerous historical attractions that are well presented and good value.

For an establishment rated 4* it's quite disappointing not to have the basic cleaning kit supplied. A very bad surprise when you arrive in the evening and try to do the dishes after supper... Same thing for toilette paper; not enough toilette paper provided for a stay of 3 nights. It is true that you can buy what you need at the reception but it does not seem correct for a 4* place - very small economies for the establishment but quite a negative, a frustrating experience for visitors The swimming pool is good for adults but definitely not suitable for children as it's 1.50m deep with no area safe for children. Quite frustrating for children and parents who, even if close to the kids, don't feel assured The double beds are quite small - (1.40m ?) and not very comfortable for 2 adults

Excellent value when traveling off season in September, patio was great in the evening, slept with the window open every night with the only sound an owl in the the local woods.

Have to make your own bed Lack of basic provisions (no soap, dish washing sponge/cloth, toilet roll etc Expected to clean the apartment yourself, who takes cleansing products on holiday? Overall very poor value for money given the price. Thin walls mean a lot of noise disturbance.

It was dirty, out dated the beds were uncomfortable. It is not a 4 star, more like 2. The mattress and pillows were plastic, we had to make our own beds up on arrival. There was no air conditioning either. The grounds were overgrown and the pool area was over crowded and tired the images shown on booking.com are clearly out of date!!!! We were glad to check out.
