The stairs!! We had to walk up 4 flights (86 steps) with our luggage and every time we left and returned! BUT!! THE VIEW and location were worth it for me.

The apartment was small, but sufficient. The view was spectacular! It was clean and well stocked. The location was fantastic. We were able to walk almost everywhere. We enjoyed our stay very much.

There are 4 flights of stairs with no lift which wasn’t a problem for us but anyone with mobility issues should be made aware of this There were no other negatives

There is no elevator and the apartment is on the European 4th floor (the owners make this clear on the Booking site), but you should factor in the fact that this building has tall floors, which, of course, why the apartment itself seems so open and has a small loft area. Also, I did not see an air conditioner, but the heating was excellent while we were there in early February. There are two showers, but only one toilet.

The location in Lyon was excellent, the view was terrific, and the apartment was spacious and nicely decorated and had all the kitchen equipment that would support even a long stay. Buses and taxis (or Bolt or Uber) made getting around outside the historic district easy; the historic district is easily accessible by foot; a the Creation market on Sunday is right on the same quai.

Finding parking was a bit difficult being our first time there, but we found a public garage within two blocks for 35 euro a day.

The apartment is adorable and we loved every minute inside. Our kids loved the space, especially the loft area for my youngest! Amazing location, couldn't ask for anything else. I often just stared out the window at the amazing view. Breakfast with the view made it easy to be energized for the day and good coffee on hand, bakery on the same block, perfect!

Some things that are good to know: Somehow we missed it that this is a 4th walk-up apartment so there's no elevator. There are 2 separate bedrooms with a loft area, so 3 sleeping areas. The bathrooms consist of 2 separate shower with a sink areas and separate toilet.

The location is perfect to walk in and around the city. Since it's on the 4th floor, the view of the river and the city are great. The apartment is really clean and very stylish, yet comfortable so it feels like a home.The beds were very comfortable as well. There were some nice Christmas light decorations that were simple and such a thoughtful touch. The kitchen was well stocked even though we didn't have time to cook anything. The heating was just the right temperature when coming back from a cold night walk. Sabrina is a perfect hostess and quickly answered any questions.Thank you!

4 flites of stairs to climb. Need to put this in ad as those who book and are elderly or have an injury would struggle. I struggled as we had just been in Italy and walked everywhere so was wanting to relax. I wouldn't have booked if I knew. Said with kindness.

It’s not bad from my perspective however there is no lift so for less mobile people (or those with a lot of luggage) it could be challenging.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the apartment, though the lack of an elevator can be problematic for others. We think it’s absolutely worth it to climb the four levels to this beautifully restored space with a great view of the Sâune.
