The light on bathroom is automatic (by movement). If you go there in the middle of the night it will take some time to turn off. I recommend to add a curtain to hide that light, because the wall between the bathroom and bedroom are glasses ( not clear glasses).

Location was great near all main spots. Staff was friendly and helpful It is an old building so that should be taken into account. Having good water pressure (and temperature) in the 5th floor was very good. It had elevator (working).

The room with a view on the fifth floor was not a good idea. Comes with an extra flight of stairs; do not accept if you don't like heights. The rooms on the first 4 floors are basic but good quality and clean. Wi/Fi is OK as long as you only have a single device, as only a single logon at a time is allowed. Otherwise if you want to use Wi/Fi on your phone you will have to completely turn off your PC (otherwise the sleeping PC holds the Wi/Fi logon permanently).

Price and Location in center of town next to a lot of restaurants (250 m to train station) Basic facilities. Lift to the 4th floor is good. The manager Betrard is friendly but you have to walk 100m up to the Broisin Hotel or ring him.

I didn't like that the shower room was very narrow.

The hotel is very conveniently located in the town centre. It's very secure. Only the person booked has the codes for the door and the room. It's quiet, too and clean.

They didn't use booking.com massaging to send the PIN for the door (I was checking in late) so I had to call them to get let in. Lift doesn't go to the top floor where my room was. This might be an issue if you're bad with steps.

Once I got checked in I couldn't really fault anything. Great pub round the corner.

I stayed the evening before a jour férié so perhaps the town was more in a party mood, but the proximity to the casino and the constant sound of cars and motorcycles racing down the strip was hard to deal with. The partying was still going on when I got up at 5am.

The room and check-in procedures were great. It was within walking distance to the gare. I got in late, but the directions were easy to follow.

Room doesn’t have enough air flow. Other guests smoke in the hotel, a strange man in the building using facilities like his own home, no one warned them because there were no staff presented.

No parking. No entry code until 10.30pm. Could not even get in. Rang the bell. Recorded voice only in French. No one to reach and talk to. I had to look for another hotel. Could not be worse.

Checking system which is remote and idiosyncratic. We arrived late afternoon and had not been able to access email en route. We could access the foyer but not the rooms without another code. Luckily there were alternative arrangements at a nearby hotel. He rang the owner and got us the codes. Luckily as the email via Bookings. Com didn’t arrive til 0533 the following morning

No one is in the reception to meet you, which can be nice. You just get a code on your phone to go in your room. All the messages you get from the hotel is in French Everyday 9 in the morning housekeeping/ a lady comes into your room. I was sleeping the first time it happened. I think the hotel should invest in some do not disturb signs, or check the room later since 9 in the morning is quite early.
