We were only here one night, but enjoyed our stay. Beautiful pool, outdoor breakfast area. Our hosts were very friendly and the homemade food and jams etc we had for breakfast were delicious!!

Wi-Fi connection not very good. No access to food outside of breakfast (although will make a sandwich on request!) - so make sure to hire a car to be able to drive to the nearest town / supermarket.

Welcoming and friendly hosts. Went out their way to make you feel at home and accommodate you. Beautiful rooms, very comfortable beds. Delicious home made breakfast every morning.

I loved my stay at Le Chemin! The hosts were very hospitable and served an excellent breakfast every morning. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The pool area has been finished nicely and it was an added bonus having somewhere safe to park the car.

Karin & Rony were wonderful hosts and their home, absolutely beautiful. Our room was very tastefully decorated, light and airy, with a fabulous en-suite bathroom and most importantly, a very comfortable bed! We enjoyed the table d'hote on one evening during our stay - Karin prepared a delicious three course meal and created a beautiful ambiance in the outside dining area. The surrounding area is fabulously rural but easily accessible; we particularly enjoyed watching the wheat harvest and the fields on bright yellow sunflowers. If we were ever in the area again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay at Le Chemin.

Truly superb property in an ideal location. Every area is beautifully presented and the owners attention to detail gives the establishment a real sense of luxury. The hosts were marvelous and did everything to ensure an enjoyable stay. The breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious. Again, exceptional attention to detail making a wonderful start to your day. I would recommend this chambre d'hote highly to friends and family.

There was absolutely no negatives whatsoever.

I highly commend this Country House Hotel, if you are looking for a fabulous place to stay in this part of France, look no further. Rony and Karin were warm and generous hosts, nothing was to much for them and they treated us like family. The location was superb, isolated and idyllically quiet in the heart of Cognac country. There is a small town close by with a good selection of Restaurants, Cafes and Supermarkets.

the time in and out of the room are a bit to short. we had to go out shortly before 11AM wich is a bit to early.

very nice house, very clean. nice breakfast and very nice tables in the garden, very quite, nice garden, parking for the car next to the place. warm welcome and a lot of nice little attentions: tea, madeleine, little sweets, water bottle.

The room was comfortable and well equipped with a plush bed in a spacious room with hanging space and drawers. A kettle for coffee, water and snacks. There was an abundance of outdoor seating, a fabulous pool with chairs all over and shade for those who don’t like to sit in the sun. Also a fully stocked small fridge so you can have some beverages by the pool side. The property was stunning and the hosts gave us the most spectacular hospitality, with breakfast every morning. You can purchase dinner which was delicious and also local wine. we would definitely recommend to anyone who might like go visit this region.
