Le Clos de L Agneau is a very special place. It has been lovingly restored and contains many of the old features and the atmosphere as you pull in through the great doors into the courtyard is a special feeling of being invited into a place of peace and tranquility. The welcome from Caroline is so warm and refreshing. There is no hotel front desk to it but a genuine welcome into her home and her world. A glass of champagne helps but it is Caroline's warmth that draws you in. The rooms are all different and beautiful. Breakfast is a delight. Sitting in the courtyard or garden is magical. The village is also very pretty and there are plenty of places to visit nearby. Many people use Le Clos to break their journey up and down or across France. I think they all regret not staying a few more nights Chez Caroline.

It would have been lovely to stay longer.

We just stayed 1 night at Clos de l'agneau on our route from Calais to Burgundy. It is a beautiful building restored with care and attention. Caroline is a welcoming and obliging host and we would thoroughly recommend staying.

There was no hot water.

Hostess was really lovely and on arrival greeted us with champagne and sweet local treats. The room was decorated beautifully, was large, comfortable and exceptional clean. Had lots of choice at breakfast and was always greeted with a welcoming smile.

Caroline is the perfect host. A very warm welcome & charming lady. We could not have found a more beautiful place to stay. Breakfast was delicious & made from local produce. We were a party of 7 including my son Harry and we all agreed we found Le Clos De Agneau delightful.

Everything! Caroline, the host, was fantastic. She explained the history of Le Clos de L’agneau while we sat in the courtyard drinking champagne she provided. The attention to detail in the presentation of the property was stunning. Super comfortable bed. Luxurious towels. The highlight was the breakfast.

Stunning refurbished old farm, refurbished and furnished with the fine elegance down to every detail. Caroline was the best hostess, so welcoming and kind.
