My only complaint is that the mattress was very hard.I usually like a firm mattress but this felt like sleeping on the floor.

It is about a twenty- five minute walk from the city center, but there is a tram stop near by.

Beautifully decorated with a lovely garden and interesting art. Room was very comfortable and quiet. Hosts were charming and exceptionally helpful. Breakfast was delicious.

Loved it all, no negative views

Beautiful property, stylishly decorated and well maintained. Lovely quality fixtures and bedding. Great position for easy access to town centre by foot ( about 20 minutes), tram line and bus Quiet at night so no problem sleeping Wonderful daily fresh breakfast of fruit, yogurts, bread, pastries( changed variety each day) ham, cheese, cereals and jams Freshly squeezed orange juice & hot drinks Had we stayed longer would certainly have partaken of Frédéric’s evening meal option Frédéric and Pierrick are the most fabulous hosts and great local knowledge ensuring our stay was filled with some memorable restaurant and activity bookings

Beautiful Townhouse that has all the comforts of a 5 star hotel. The hosts are warm and friendly and went out of their way to ensure that we had a fantastic stay. This truly is a gem and i cannot recommended it enough. Delicious breakfast served each morning. I will certainly stay again on future visits to Bordeaux.

I don't often write reviews for hotels but this was exceptional. The hosts were incredibly helpful and attentive without being invasive. The rooms were a good size and the whole property is beautifully decorated. Breakfast was excellent, sat in the garden. The property is very well connected with a tram stop into town (5 mins) or you can walk in 15 mins. No faults at all with the hotel or hosts.

Absolutely everything! Frederic and Pierrick were amazing hosts. Welcoming, attentive and made our stay wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable. Very close to the tram with easy access to everything. Breakfast was amazing! Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Thank you both for a wonderful stay!

Nothing. My only regret is that we didn't spend our entire trip there... we arrived as the weather got a bit cooler but it would have been great to spend more time lounging by the pool in the lovely garden! Will just have to come back😁

Everything! The reviews were so good I was eagr to see what this place was like and I can happily say it did not disappoint! The hosts are incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful, with lots of advice and were even willing to adapt their breakfast times to suit our needs when we had to get up early for a flight. The rooms and whole accommodation are pristine and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious! I would recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a bit of luxury close to the heart of bordeaux.

Our breakfasts were exceptionally generous. We also had meals prepared for us at night which were superb, delicious and served in their lovely garden beside the pool. After long days out sightseeing it was very relaxing to come back to such a wonderful setting and meals of a cordon blue standard. The house is very modern and comfortable and we were treated as valued guests. We were given very detailed hints of where to go, how to get around Bordeaux tram systems, what to see and they had every tourist pamphlet and map, ready for us. Perfect location too as it is right on the tram line.

When we arrived, we were greeted and shown around the property. It was clean, modern, and beautifully decorated. We were shown all the amenities and once we had settled in, the owners sat down with us to show us a map of Bordeaux, suggested things to do and helped us book somewhere to eat for my birthday meal that evening. The breakfast was beautiful, pastries, fruit, bread, cheese etc and when I asked for apple juice, they went out of their way to get me some later that day. They couldn’t do enough for us, even booking our taxi ready to take us back to the airport. The location is great, just a short 3 or 4 minute walk to the tram line which takes you straight into the centre, or you can walk which is about 20/25 minutes. There is nothing bad we could say about staying at Le Clou De Louis, and if we are ever back in Bordeaux, we will definitely be staying there again!
