We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Le Dauphin offers an exceptionally warm welcome and a lovely atmosphere. The room we had was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was exceptional. Anne is a really thoughtful host, who offered to help store our bikes securely. She speaks both French and English fluently. We were so comfortable that we decided to stay two nights to relax.

United KingdomRoom was hot and needed airing when I arrived. Fan was provided which made the room OK for sleeping in with the window open.
Check in was well handled after I had not realised reception closed at 7pm. Hotel phoned me and sent me instructions on how to get in and pick up my key. Parking was easy and restaurant opposite was a bonus. Breakfast was just right and the English lady owner was very friendly. A comfortable night's stay.

Very pleasant and helpful reception staff, with the possibility of secure parking at the rear of the hotel. Room was clean and adequate for an overnight stay. Easy to find with plenty of parking immediately in front of the hotel (free Public Car Park). Plenty of hot water and the option of breakfast.

United KingdomWhat a lovely hotel. It was easy to find and had free parking outside. My wife is a wheelchair user so we had requested the disabled room. This was on the ground floor and close to the breakfast room. The room was very comfortable and had an excellent customised bathroom. The continental breakfast was very nice. There was plenty of choice. It was self-service and available for several hours so there was no rush. Next to the hotel is the restaurant La Sicilia which was really good. We only stayed for one night as we were travelling from the south to Calais. It is a pity that we were not able to stay for longer!

United KingdomI knew when booked there was no air conditioning which if installed would make the stay even more comfortable.
Easy to find, free parking ( lots of spaces), reception was so welcoming , friendly and offered so much help. Room was large enough for our overnight stay, the shower height was great for tall guests ( odd comment but when you are tall it’s great to be able to stand up in a shower). Breakfast was conitentsl and good choice . I know it is only rated 2* but the service was 5*. Highly recommended and fantastic value
