Staircase is quite difficult to negotiate. Definitely not for anyone with walking difficulties. I don’t feel you could carry a suitcase up there easily.

The spiral staircase.

The only downside was the spiral staircase. It is not suitable for the elderly or people with small children.Apart from those fantastic facilities and location. The cherry on the cake: fully soundproof as the studio is located on the main avenue. Free semi-rear enclosed parking is easily accessible. The plus side is close to.city centre reachable on foot through Blossac Park.

Dispensers could have been filled. Couple of pods for washing machine maybe incase client's have forgotten.

Location. The park over the road was great. The Japanese restaurant opposite was fantastic. Great parking. Coffee pods a nice touch. Plenty of crockery, utensils etc.

A beautiful loft apartment, only 10 mins. walk from the centre of Poitiers and opposite a lovely park. It is really well designed and clean. We really enjoyed our 3 nights here.

As per other reviews the stairway is Narrow access but we just took an overnight bag. Problem solved.

A lovely short walk to the centre either through the animal park or via the roads. Wifi. Onsite parking. Early check-in. Communication with the host was very good - prompt responses. Near restaurants & bars.

Narrow stairs to access the accommodation. Having no bin bag and limited toilet roll on arrival was a bit disappointing, but this was soon rectified.

Having an allocated parking space was a real benefit. A good internal layout. Good soundproofing. In a great location.

When people write about the tight stairwell, they aren't kidding. One stairwell to get to the interior apartment door, another once you're inside. If you have mobility issues or can't lift your luggage, it will be a problem. When driving to the location from the highway, you can't turn left onto the property's street and have to go around the park, turn at the roundabout and come back. It's a little weird but can't be helped.

Great little apartment just outside the old city walls. Private parking lot just behind the property (sign for orthodontist office parking) made being in the city with a car easy to deal with. 15-20 minute walk to city center. Carrefour market not too far in both directions to get some supplies. Well equipped kitchen including toaster, microwave, induction hob, washing machine. Nice view from the apartment both of the park in front and the cityscape in the back.

Nothing not to like. Although a lot of steps upto the apartment, which wouldn't be suitable if you had mobility issues.

The staircase is not what in the UK is called a spiral staircase, it is simply an extremely narrow and twisty conventional staircase up to the attic floor and was not suitable for anyone with a mobility problem. There were no instuctions for any of the kitchen appliances, no fire blanket or extinguisher and no fire escape. The water supply was switched off overnight on one occasion and again when we left, and with our limited French we had to talk to the workmen involved about this. The apartment owner did not respond directly to any of our messages sent before we arrived, but sent instructions about the keys shortly before we left the UK. The liquids in the pump dispensers in the kitchen and shower room were almost empty and had been considerably diluted with water, and the coffee machine did not work.

The bed was large and comfortable with a separately stored duvet which we had to put into its cover. The air conditioning unit, although it dripped water down the stairs causing a slight slipping hazard, was a godsend in the hot weather. The fridge was large with a freezing compartment, but was not very clean (there was a dead spider inside!). The apartment was a comfortable walk from the town centre with a shortcut through the park opposite. The TV was large and there was a reasonable number of channels available in French, and the wifi was consistent. There was plenty of crockery and bakeware available. The building is on a major road junction which was busy both day and throughout the night, but soundproofing was effective.
