We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Pierre and his wife made us feel at home. Highly recommend!!! What a delightful manor very quiet location just outside of town. It was top notch with all of the amenities of a highly rated hotel but more quaint. It is located on a lot of land with trees and deer. Wonderful rooms with a comfortable bed and pillows. In your room you will find bath robes, oversized soft towels, Kleenexes, superior shower gels, shampoos and lotions, toothbrushes and Q-tips. You can make Coffee in your room and ours also had a mini refrigerator. The manor is over 100 years old. Pierre and his wife keep it up to date and it’s spotlessly clean. They were super nice, informative, made you feel at home, and had wonderful recommendations for restaurants. Breakfast was fresh crescents and bread, preserves, butter, cheese spreads, yogurts, variety of juices, cereal, teas and a fancy coffee machine. Only negative - I wish we could have stayed longer.

United StatesThe wifi didn't quite reach my room on the third floor consistently, it would work sometimes but go in and out. It wasn't so much of a problem for me though.
So charming!! I didn't want to pay so much money to stay in a low-quality Paris hotel, so when I found this lovely B&B just outside the city, I was so excited. The old house is so charming, the room and bed was very comfortable, and the house has been outfitted with nice new appliances/plumbing. And I liked that this B&B was on a forested property -- very private!
