The location is perfect to walk to different old buildings and important places. The attention in the breakfast is very good and Marine was exceptional as a host. The room was comfy and perfect for a young couple because it was in the second floor.

Cons I actually couldn’t find anything as a cons, but may be for the differently abled or geriatric the winding stairs could be a problem. But for us, the winding stairs added to the ancient-building feel of the property.

We stayed in this beautiful 16th century property in the month of June 2023. It is a b&b stay managed by our lovely host Frédérique, with all the perks and privileges of a home stay kind of environment. Pros -Knowledgable, informative and accommodating English/ French speaking host. She contacted us in advance for the coordination. -Located at centre of Bordeaux -Value for money -Great filling breakfast ( the best cheese, fresh croissant and yummy crepes we had in the town) other than that baguette, nuts and fruits as also offered to us. -Lovely feel of the well decorated and old French property with a lounge in the basement -Well kept room with all the amenities

A little hot at night but very noisy to open the window.

Madame went over and above with breakfast. Healthy tasty wonderful start to our day. Room was beautifully outfitted. Beds very comfortable. Conversation very interesting and helpful.

Beautiful B&B hidden on a side street right in the centre of Bordeaux. It is run by a very pleasant lady, who makes you feel at home. I will definitely return.

The location was very sweet and in a splendid and lively area. The nights were very quiet though as the house is in a side street. You can tell that the host puts all of her heart in this precious Bijou and so is the service! Great place, very noce host - we would go again anytime :)

Frédérique was a perfect host!! She noticed on the first morning what we liked at breakfast and made sure to have that and more of it on the second day! It was so surprising how quiet the room was given its central location!! We were also happy the Wi-Fi worked and we could watch a US hockey playoff game on our computer!! It’s a beautiful city and our place was a perfect French accommodation !!

This B&B was very different from any of my previous bed and breakfast accommodations and caught me off guard. Essential items like hand soap and toilet paper in the bathroom were forgotten, though remedied when host's attention was drawn to them. A stairway to the rooms was mentioned in the property description, but it wasn't clear that the stairway was stone, steep, narrow and curvy. (Frederique did carry my suitcase up the stairs for me.) The street side was noisy at night unless the windows were closed. The bathroom was a separate room (entrance to the hallway landing accessible by other guests) from the bedroom which meant that if I locked the bedroom door at night I had to unlock it to go out to the bathroom which could be a safety issue and was a disruption to my sleep.

If you get pleasure from OLD (the building of Miroir aux Fees in from the 16th century) and appreciate the eccentricities that often accompany "old age" you will get pleasure from staying in this B&B--including tea and cake served on beautiful Limoges china! Frederique, who is on-site or easily available, is a very attentive host who pays attention to her guests' needs and does all she can to accommodate them. She spent a great deal of time orienting me to Bordeaux. Wifi connection was reliable. The location was only a few blocks from "the longest shopping street in Europe", and in the opposite direction are many restaurants, bistros, etc. and walking distance to the river promenade and the tourist office.

The location of Mirror is exceptional. It's wonderful to step out of your facility and step at once into the heart of old Bordeaux.
