We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Our charming and knowledgeable hostess and her kind staff ensured that we had a memorable stay in the delightful hotel Neptune. The room was comfortable and airy. The breakfasts were superb, and the location of the hotel - just off the centre towards the little Rhone - was tranquil and perfect.

Switzerland1. Little or less help with the luggage, especially at the day of departure. There were stairs to the room and also a flight of stairs to the entrance door, no lift, so a stronger helping hand would have been very supportive, especially after or before travelling very long and with heavy luggage. Additionally, for handicapped people the stairs could be a problem. 2. Booked the nicely looking room with the train inside, which was shown at the photo of booking.com. When I arrived, the landlady told me that this room had no toilet inside the room, only the shower. Therefore, one has to leave the room to use a separate toilet, which was at the same corridor. She offered another room, which had the toilet (and shower) inside. When I wanted to take a look inside the originally booked room, she told me, that I would not be allowed to enter the room. She only let me take a short look from the corridor. Due to security reasons I decided for the room with a direct access to a toilet. Nevertheless, the other room looked much nicer, was cooler and was one reason to choose this hotel. 3. The room was very hot, so I did not sleep very well inside. There was an air-conditioning inside, which I found at my departure day. When I tried to spur it, it was very noisy, so I stopped it immediately. 4. One could hear every noise from the corridor and also from other rooms, for example somebody arrived during the night and the doors were slammed, or another guest suffered from coughing and you could hear that during the night. This was the other reason, why I did not sleep very well during both nights. 5. The landlady offered two different types of breakfast. The cheaper one consisted of a hot drink and a croissant or s.th. comparable (very small), the second one was offered for 15 Euro. It was served at a terrace, at which most of the tables were in the blazing sun. The slices of bread were very small, therefore it was not so easy to enjoy the different types of jam....
-I liked that there was a coffee machine (Nespresso) inside the room and an electric kettle, although only two capsules of coffee per day were offered and only two bags of tea per day. There could be some more capsules of coffee or more tea bags for one day inside the room by reason of the higher prize for the rooms compared to other hotels in France. -The coffee offered at breakfast was made by a French press and was good. When asking for it, it was possible to have some cheese for breakfast, even though in smaller amounts. - The staff helping with the breakfast was friendly and polite.

Grea quite hotel away from noisy city center but close enough to walk there for dinner or shoping. To reach the beaches use the car is necessary, but then you cen go to different beaches every day.

GermanyDisorganized for breakfast times and check-in. (Not just me, I could tel other French-soaking guests were also down in the lobby looking for information. ) No clear instructions on what time breakfast started. Would like have had the chance to make requests for food ahead of time and let them know my order and to let them know what time I would be arriving for the meal. However, after that, they did give me a sheet for check off for that day, but then didn’t give me another one for the following morning. (I didn’t mind waiting, but it might have helped them too). Extra cost for pet was not shared until arrival. I would have gone elsewhere had I known, as there were other options that listed pets allowed which didn’t incur the cost and they clearly shared that upfront. I think the breakfast cost was too much for what we received, but it was the right amount of food. Also, no variation from day 1 to day 2 breakfast, thus if staying for several days that would be so boring.
The room was decorated nicely and appropriately for location. The two people who we met on arrival seemed like they wanted to welcome us. Especially the very sweet non-English speaking young lady.
