The rooms are a little small, and not every bathroom has a shower, but that’s probably a Europe thing

We had a great stay! Our room had a loft (with a very steep staircase) and two windows that overlooked the seine. We slept with our windows open and the May breeze coming through! The location is fabulous and despite it being on a very touristy room, we barely heard the sounds from our room. The staff was incredibly accommodating and kind!

The room overlooking the 'courtyard' had very steep and dangerous stairs. Been on the sixth floor the ceilings were low in places, so our tall friend and I had to be careful walking around the room. The bathroom was much too small... next time 52/42 might be better for us.

Fantastic location for one of our rooms. Next time, we'll book 52 and 42!! Efficient service at breakfast and staff always pleasant and helpful.

Every day during stay there was only enough hot water for one person to shower. Second person had to have cold shower. Carpets could be improved. Key card system didn’t seem the most secure.

Location was perfect. The staff were really friendly. Room was small enough but had everything we needed and was very funky, with a view of Notre Dame and the Seine.

Shower improvement. Could do with shower head being fixed to the wall and curtain the full way around the bath.

If I have to mention something the lift is too small and corridors are narrow but didn't affect our satisfaction

The bathroom was small, taking a normal shower was a bit difficult (you had to sit down in the bathtub :) Because it's in the "centre", it's noisy. If you are sensitive to noises during night, this might not be your choice.

The location was great and the hotel was unique. The breakfast was a normal french breakfast with very nice views to Notre Dame. Lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful.

The lack of an elevator from the ground floor to the lobby, though this is often inevitable in buildings of this age. The lovely woman at the front desk kindly helped our friends, who are older, with their heavy bags - which was very kind.

The location could not be better, and the views of Notre Dame are absolutely amazing. Breakfast was very nice and an excellent value. Rooms were spotless and spacious. Loved that we were able to open the windows, which isn't possible in "modern" accomodations.

Handing the room card in all the time when we left the hotel everyday felt slightly out of date. It made us feel like we couldn't come and go at our leisure. Not enough hangers in the room for a couple. Not that we used it that much only when getting ready at night but the TV didn't work for two nights. There was no signal.

Loved the location. Amazing view of Notre Dame and the Seine. Perfect spot for exploring the beautiful city of Paris. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

I stayed on the top floor, and the room was in the eaves. The bathroom was on the small side, and there was barely enough room to stand up in the shower. Which could be a problem if you're tall. Otherwise the room was great.

In a fantastic location, it is so easy to get to from the airport (Orly) on the train, the station is immediately opposite the hotel. On the central metro if you want to use it. Great café downstairs which is always busy, great crepes, coffee. It's perfectly located for the Latin Quarter, there's a few bars behind the hotel, and over the river for La Mais and the Centre Pomidou.
