I had to pay twice as I made a mistake in the booking. I immediately tried to change it but the system would not let me. So I had to pay 262 euros for a booking I couldn't make. I tried to contact Booking.com and they sent me an email saying they would look into it. I repeatedly tried to email the hotel but no reply. Lovely people there but couldn't help when I told them when I did go. I paid 700 plus euros for the stay this week which I would have been OK with. Peak season. 2 nights. I am a long standing user of Booking.com but now I think I may switch to Air B n B as thus has left a nasty taste in my mouth

the bad is like a hummock… you and your partner in one deep cave in the morning. bathroom looks like it’s a space tube canine: very narrow and small. the hotel looks more like a bungalow…

The breakfast was late most days , no plates available and the staff didn’t know where they were - felt like it was just friends of the owners who had turned up to do them a favour !!! We did nt really know who worked there or who were friends of the staff - felt unorganised most of the time . The younger members of staff who worked in the evenings seemed to have a better understanding of what was happening. The food was overpriced and not particularly good- much nicer places to eat - has more of a hostel feel than hotel .The bathrooms are tiny and if you are tall or a larger size person you would nt fit in the shower !!! They are the size of a caravan bathroom.

The room's door, the curtains, the general aspect of the room rather correspond to that of a sonewhat run down motel, not of a 3 star hotel. Some renovation is really needed.

Really friendly, helpful staff. Big room with a huge bathroom. Brilliant hot high pressure shower. Great location with baggage storage before checkin and after checkout. Could not be happier.

Quirky hotel rooms bit like a ship with porthole type windows. Great location if like walking and biking, even though we travelled by car enjoyed the natural feel of it all

No ventilation in the rooms so it’s unbearably hot even with the door open. Not explained to us upon arrival that breakfast would be charged at the end. Very poor selection for breakfast for the price they charge.

I made a mistake in the booking. Booked exactly a week too early. Only realised that i wanted the following week when it was too late. They took my money and then I couldn't get in touch with anyone to change it. I paid 262 euros. Then 730 euros the following week for the one i wanted. Booking.com sent an email saying they would look into it when i tried to cancel/change but i heard nothing more. I spoke to 2 managers on site when i came the following week but they couldn't do anything about it. This left a nasty taste in the mouth. I am a long standing user of Booking.com but now i think i may stick with Air b n B

What a great experience — we arrived in Cap Ferret and were welcomed very friendly. Even though we were a bit early, our room was ready. Super quiet, great bed and even though the bathroom is more on the small side, we had a great time. Don’t miss out on the breakfast, it’s worth it. It took us max 5min to reach the beach. With at least two surf schools on the way and a surf shop on the other side of the street, that was heaven for us 😊

the rooms were quite small as were the beds. I found the bathroom small clean and quirky.

fantastic location right by the beach. the staff were welcoming friendly and efficient. we ate in the restaurant both nights and it was very good with great food and service. it is a quirky place and we had a great stay.
