Everything we needed was available. There was water, orange juice a d milk in the fridge. There was a television. We felt cold, the hostess started à fire in the room. In the morning, we received a wonderful breakfast with bread, croissant and pain au chocolat

Cute little French accommodation with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was incredible, warm fresh bread and pastries with homemade jams. Our host was waiting outside for us on arrival and made sure we knew where everything was.

We spent one night here, en route from the UK to Portugal. We had a warm welcome and found the house cosy and with everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious! Definitely recommended

Amazing lovely cottage in a chilled local hamlet. Great little outside patio area and comfortable larger than expected cottage. The lady who met us was very friendly and welcoming and provided a great breakfast. We will definitely return when next traveling through the area.

The bed was a bit small for all us (but since one of us is two meters tall this is something that happens a lot).

Very clean and designed with all possible needs of the traveller in mind. The owner was very friendly and although she did not speak English she managed to explain everything to us. The breakfast was really tasty as well.

nothing. all went well.

it is a lovely little house, nice decorated. there is a private parking in front of it and a private little terrasse. the owners are friendly and welcoming. the breakfast has been served between 8am to 8:30am in your room and the best is that they have prepared it on a tray which is behind your door. so no need to see anyone and take it when you are ready for it. the juice, jams and butter are already in the fridge and you can make yourself the coffee or tea because it is already there too.

We have stayed in two locations nearby at similar prices previously. This was far superior in almost every respect. It is a large room attached to a village house which has been made into a self-contained bed/sitting/dining/kitchen with an en-suite shower and loo. The location is in a very quiet village just a few minutes from the RN10 and an A10 junction. The hostess welcomed us, showed us where everything was, including tea and coffee. In the morning she produced bread, croissants, jams, marmalade and pastries. There was a comfortable double bed, a fire, TV, everything we could reasonably want for a base. We stayed only one night as we were en route to Spain from England but would willingly stay longer to be able to see some of the local attractions such as Futuroscope and many others for which there were brochures in the room.

Cosy gite in middle of France. Good overnight stop for travel. Lovely touch of providing a little bread, pastries and jam. We did take food to cook as there are no local amenities but we loved that

The place was full of flies. We counted 100 on the beams on the ceiling alone. They were all over the walls and floors, and no way of getting them out. The flies meant that eating at mealtimes was impossible, without waving all the flies off. We had the feeling that it was used to house the pet dog. We did not shower or use the towels as we werent sure if they were clean.

1. The place is in the middle of nowhere where you would expect to spend a quiet night, however, our expectations were shattered as the room is actually an annex to the host's house and we could hear the host's living noise (tv, chattering) until late at night, as if they were staying in the same room.. It was equally noisy when someone was walking upstairs during the night and in the morning. 2. The single heating facility was a fire place (electricity-controlled but with actual fire) so we put out the fire before going to sleep for safety, and also because it was noisy too, but then the room soon started to freeze.. an alternative heating facility would have been nice. there was no heating in the bathroom and it was too cold, so none of us took a shower. 3. The electricity went off twice in the early hours of morning. And because the breaker panel was in our room (in fact, right above the bed where your heads will be.. kinda scary..also the panel was emitting a high-frequency noise all night which bothered us too), the host rang us (both phone and doorbell) to ask us to reset the breakers. 4. I was looking forward to the breakfast, as I'd seen the photos on here, but for some reason all the pastries (croissants and pain au chocolat) were burned to black.. I had to scrape off the burned surface before serving my kids.

Spacious room, big enough to accommodate a young family with 2 small children.
