Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomOne or two slightly inconsiderate parents allowed their young children to play very loudly outside at very early hours of the morning. Didn't spoil things but could have had we been in closer proximity.
Really relaxing place to be. Lovely staff, very comfortable accommodation, and felt at home straight away. Good little Carrefour 800 meters away for all the basics . Hired a couple of bikes on site at a very reasonable cost and really enjoyed riding on the cycleways, which are extensive. We ate at the site restaurant, which was perfectly adequate and barbied on our gas portable bbq a couple of nights on the little sandy area in front of our veranda. I'm glad we opted for the 3 bed chalet ,despite there being just the 2 of us ,as they are newer and smarter. The cleverly placed greenery surrounding the units really makes you feel quite private.

United KingdomQuite far round on the island so took a while to get round the other side of the island. In the summer months this may be a benefit.

LuxembourgNothing really. Maybe the fitness could open earlier than 10 and they could add a little shop with the basics and a playground for the babies ( 1year olds)
The cabins are very nice, small but nice. We liked the set up in the middle of the nature. The restaurant was very good and the had a cool little bar

BelgiumJust to nitpick, mosquito screens for the windows would be nice.
Nice refurbished or new chalet, with good beds, nice and light interior, everything you need, also airco. Even though you are quite close to other lodges, you hardly hear anything and there are trees around that make it cosy and private. Very friendly staff, surprisingly good restaurant, parking close to your accomodation (50m), 250m to the beach. As the weather was bad, we didn't go for a swim, but you've got a nice outside as well as inside swimming pool (both not that big). You can use the fittness for free as well as get free use of the ping pon table and fussball table. Is quite close to the village centre and supermarket and a few restaurants. We also got a very nice welcoming gift ànd a free breakfast for the first morning :)

FranceNot much we didn’t like. Coffee capsules for the coffee machine are not supplied, apart from about 3 to get you started. I assumed incorrectly that the reception would sell them as has been the case at other places we have stayed. Indeed, I emailed this question beforehand, and was told they needed to be bought. Didn’t realise they meant from a supermarket, and next day they had sold out anyway. So bring your own coffee machine! The shower head fixing in one of the showers was broken on arrival, but we just used the other shower.
Staff very polite and friendly/welcoming. Short walk to very nice beach. Bike hire on site worked well. Restaurant on site was adequate. Kitchen was well equipped. It was quiet at night time, the room was well soundproofed with the doors and windows closed, air conditioning worked well.

United KingdomThe restaurant is great, but very limited on menu options and very expensive, especially considering it is the only option available. It can be quite noisy with neighbouring huts, and we were at the end of season.
The huts are really well laid out, surrounded by trees to provide privacy. The site is a quick walk to quiet beaches and the pools are great to entertain children

IrelandThere were lots of trees and bushes which leant towards a high population of mosquitoes. We would have liked to avail of the deck area in the evenings but this was impossible because of the mosquitoes. Maybe some mosquito nets on the decks would help?? Rooms are very small.
Property was nice. Great to have the pool.

United KingdomWe didn't like being mixed with families with young children. There should really be an area for adults only. There is some road noise as well, but we were lucky as we were near the centre and it wasn't too bad for us, but there are cabins right next to the road which we wouldn't have liked. The beds are not very good quality and low, so would be difficult for older people.
The location is perfect. The Staff were helpful and friendly. The cabins are well equipped, but there is no oven just a microwave with a gas hob. There is a dishwasher though, always a bonus, who wants to wash up on their holiday!! Very clean and smelt fresh. The aircon was a real bonus and was needed, as it was very hot!!

GermanyThe mobile home was In a super nice setting, interior and kitchen would need an upgrade though and for the charged price, one could expect that some things (like bed linen / covers, towels etc) are already set in the lodge upon arrival.
Really beautiful complex of mobile home with a lot of green, nice flower and really calm and relaxed. The beach is very nearby and many nice places are easily accessible by walk or bicycle. The facilities such as playground and swimming pool are excellent for the kids. The restaurant and food truck are great. Nice offers for kids and the family in the evenings, all of them pretty moderate and relaxed though - compared to other big campsites. Staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is just great! Bicycles can be rented right on site.

United KingdomThe premium cost didn’t quite match the accommodation as the bedrooms are very tight for space. For that money I expected a bit more space. The swimming pools were fine but for the size of camp the outdoor pool would ideally be a bit bigger for the number of people using it. Not a big issue if you’re more of a beach person like us who just uses the pool to cool off at the end of the day. No good if you want to do lengths as too busy, but the gym is fine for exercise!
Our hut felt secluded as the wildlife is carefully arranged to give you lots of privacy. The only flip side was that meant we didn’t get much sun for drying out towels and swimming things. On-site restaurant offers some very good quality dishes. Cycle hire service good and location great for cycling to town, supermarket, beaches etc. Also a big plus that they have EV chargers on site.
