Extremely small toilet room without fresh air. 🫣

All Staff (but particularly Clara) was very knowledgeable / helpful giving recommendations with a smile and making restaurant reservations. Location was perfect for short walks to all attractions in Vieux Lyon and Presqu’Isle. Room Service pro-active with toilet paper and cleaning rooms.

As that hotel is made with buildings put together, there was a "Shining feeling" when you try to find your room (and I did not use the small bicycle, ahahah).

Room very comfortable. Bed OK, not too hard, not too soft. Very well situated. All restaurants not far.

There was no surround or curtain around the shower so the floor got soaked. A lounge area closer to the bar would be ideal.

Our room was very comfortable and spacious with a lovely river view. The hotel is nicely updated and very stylish. Good location for visiting the Old Quarter and other sites. The staff is helpful and friendly. Very good double insulated windows so there is no street noise.

The thermostat wanted to keep the room a bit warmer than we like, and opening the windows was to typical city smells (diesel and smoke). I think this was our issue, rather than the hotel's, but we never figured out the temperature controls.

The staff at Le Phenix is super professional and kind. They were able to accommodate both an early check-in request and an extension of our stay when our plans changed. We were also invited to join their vendor event spontaneously and truly enjoyed meeting the vintners who supply their bar. Our room was comfortable and large. We will be back!

The social areas were a bit Spartan and clinical and lacked atmosphere. Breakfast and dining more akin to a five star youth hostel.

A very minor point but the toilet door creaks which is annoying in the middle of the night.

Great location in Vieux Lyon, close to restaurants and bars but double glazing means we didn’t hear any of the associated noise. Friendly staff, with someone available 24/7 if required.

There's no room service at night if you need snacks or food from the hotel. However, the staff are very helpful and they will try to guide you on where you can go nearby if the places are still open.

Staff were really kind and helpful. The room was comfortable, well kept, and well equipped. I would consider staying there again.

There were no glasses or slippers in the room, no electric cattle for water which are some of the things you would expect in a 4* hotel.

Very nice location right on the river and in a walking distance from town center. The room was very clean and the staff was polite.
