It was difficult to locate the hotel zone. The email was not clear that the code was for the gate to enter the zone. The restaurants in the area all closed early at 9:00pm. I wasn’t sure if we could exit the hotel zone and use the same code to reenter so we didn’t attempt to find anything outside of the zone. We were not able to eat dinner anywhere. We couldn’t even find a confectionary or grocery store to buy something.

The receptionist was extremely helpful directing us where to catch the shuttle and the return times. We loved the layout of our room. Everyone had their own space. It offered some privacy for us and our daughters 23 and 21.

Very friendly service and good breakfast. We could park our motorbike in the hotel yard under the roof. The shuttle bus to Mont St Michel left few meters from the hotel.

We found the directions to the property a little difficult to follow. There are several car parks close by. Also nobody advised that all the restaurants closed at 9pm

Late check in was unreasonable, the restaurant was prohibitively priced.

Staff were helpful and it was close enough to the Mont. room was also a reasonable size for France, and was clean and quiet. Options to buy food externally were available.

Hotel restaurant was closed, and food options were VERY limited when we arrived at 6 PM on Sunday night, so. Beware and make plans to eat before you arrive. It was unclear to us that the hotel is located beyond a closed gate, in the hotel zone. The keycode operated gate is not well signed, and you end up in a vehicle line wondering if you are in the correct lane. Stay in that left lane. You have to have the code from the hotel in order to punch it into the machine in order for the gate to lift for your car to enter. (for some reason, we didn't receive the email with the code). You will receive a ticket with which you will pay to exit from the "hotel zone" when you leave.

Being so close to the photographic opportunities we wanted to have. Hotel is in the "hotel zone" almost as close to the end of the line of hotels as you could get. That meant we could walk only a short distance to start walking on the causeway to decide where we wanted to take our photos. Free shuttle stops only a short distance from the hotel to take you out to the actual island...doesn't make any stops once on the causeway. Sarah was a friendly and helpful employee during our stay.

It would have been nice to have two real chairs in the room for the two of us. Electrical outlets for modern technology would have been nice. The rooms were a bit dated.

Greeted by kind and friendly staff. The beds slept well and we had a good shower. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The best part about Le Relais du Roy was that we could walk out the back door and see Mont Saint Michele! Easy access by train then bus.
