The beds were uncomfortable and an elderly couple kept telling children not to splash in the pool. The pool was very quiet and children were sensible. However defeats the object of 1. Being a child and 2. Enjoying a pool. Someone said they lived there.

The road to the cabin was rough&mucky.The wifi should be available free.More basic kitchen things,ie washing up liquid,cleaning cloths/scrubbers,iron,hair dryer,mirrors for persons who travel there without a car.more window curtains..

Basic things were an extra cost - sheets, towels... Shoes and googles 'disappeared' from pool area. No reaction from receptionist when alerted from this.

Great facilities in the campsite and convenient location beside Le Bois and less than 1km from a lovely beach. Accommodation is tight but comfortable and has everything you need. Our kids had a ball at the pool and water slides.

The bed linen! I was given geotextile covers for the pillows and bedspread. I realized that those are just protectors. I had to pay extra for proper covers and they did not look anything like the ones in the pictures. It would be nice if the bed linen was included in the cost of the stay.

People at the reception were really polite and helpful. The mobile home was modern and clean. There are 2 pools at the camping. Both were clean and large enough to have a swim. We stayed there outside of the French holiday season so the camping was very quiet. At lunchtime, we had both swimming pools to ourselves :). Just remember only speedos are allowed at the pool! The bike rental is one of the cheapest in the village and the bikes are well-maintained. The camping site is located 8 mins walk from the beach and the village center, where you will find the daily market, shops, and supermarket. I would highly recommend this camping site.

A delightful stay in peaceful surrounds with good facilities

The main obstacle was communication. It was not easy to communicate with the accommodation using the Booking.com app because the messages did not reach the staff at the reception, which caused delays in questions being asked. As travellers, which arrived by train and ferry, it would have been great to have received more information on how to travel to the camping site, especially since it is not easy to navigate the various shuttle options on Isle De Re. In the end, we came by the local electric shuttle, but took the wrong bus and arrived quite late. We did not know that we had to bring our own towels and bed sheets, maybe this could be indicated in the response email from the accommodation. The reception was very helpful in providing us bed sheets and towels, although we had to pay a small fee for the towels. It is required to clean-up the mobile home before leaving, which is a normal thing for camping sites, so we had to buy cleaning material. The wifi is performing well in the central areas, where we stayed we had some connection issues. Two wifi vouchers are provided, we had to buy additional Wifi vouchers, but the costs are reasonable compared to other Camping sites.

The Camping is very well-placed, close to the Beaches and the center of the town. It takes about ten minutes to go directly to the beach, and the same time to go the center of the town, where there is a market and a supermarket (there is also a small supermarket at the camping site, which is open in the mornings and evenings). The staff at the Camping is very friendly and helpful, especially at the reception. Since we arrived by train and ferry, we received help transporting our luggage to the mobile home, which was very appreciated. When we approached the reception directly, we also received support, for instance when we wanted to rent a bike for a quick trip to the supermarket. We would have loved to rent bikes for five days in total, but this was not possible as all bikes were already reserved. The mobile home is new, the facilities are new and clean. Although the mobile homes are fairly close together, some privacy is provided through shrubs and bushes, which are watered in the mornings in the summer, so they provide some shade together with the trees covering the camping site. The pool is very good. There are three pools: an indoor pool with colder water, which is very refreshing, an outdoor pool with warm water and a water playground for the kids, which were great fun. The playgrounds were also very well maintained.

My wife beat me at mini golf

This was a very peaceful getaway and we'll definitely come back! It was mostly for families with children (we're a young couple) and we didn't get involved with the entertainment side of things but we went with our dog and just enjoyed being there in a nice cabin in a beautiful setting.

Males need proper swimming trunks to use the pool. Not an issue as there were places to buy them but it would have been good to know that from the website or in a confirmation email. Sheets, towels and cleaning are not included in the price when booking through Booking.com. These are additional costs. Wifi codes can be purchased. Only one user per code so not just one for the whole family! The toilet for our mobile home was very close the the neighbours veranda. Just a bit uncomfortable when they're sat there eating and you need the toilet! Table tennis tables were great but needed to buy the bats/balls and could not hire them (7euros)

Nice site, great location. Easy walk to the beach and centre of the town for markets, restaurants, shops etc. All very clean and on the whole very quiet. The accommodation was small but OK. Pool good but not that big. Family orientated particularly young families. Restaurant provided some great food. Some sort of entertainment every evening. Bike hire was good.
