We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

CanadaBeautiful and peaceful property with outstanding view of saint Saturnin les Apt and surrounding vineyards and olive trees. Late afternoons with a dip in the pool to cool off after good day of hiking and sightseeing nearby. The breakfasts were delicious. Louise was so helpful giving advise on restaurants and hiking. The apartment was very comfortable with a lot of wonderful character. We booked for 6 nights and would love to come again. Highly recommend.

United StatesThe Wi-Fi could have been stronger in our room ... but was ample for our needs.
Le Vieux Portail is a beautiful and comfortable property. Louisa and Lucien are warm, attentive and inviting hosts. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with everything you need to fuel your day in Provence.. The location is amazing, surrounded by vineyards and very close to Saint-Saturnin-leas-Apts ... within walking distance, and Apt a short drive away. The region provides excellent options for cycling and sightseeing.

United StatesThis is a beautiful place. It is great for bikers and hikers. It is not for people who want high comfort amenities like you find in a western hotel. The breakfast was fabulous - fresh fruit, cheeses, croissants and Louisa is happy to make you an egg any style. Great for photos.

United StatesWe like the farm house in the vineyards. Louisa managed it very well with a french roustic style. The room is very spacious. Breakfast is so good with coffee, 2 fresh juice, different fruits and jam, cheese, ham, yogurt, and eggs. Louisa is very friendly and always available. We have highly appreciated the quietness of the property and its location. The owners are very welcoming and helpful for any questions or requests. The breakfast was very tasty, diversified and served outdoor in the most relaxing environment. It was the best way to start the day before heading out to visit the surroundings (Saint Saturnin, Gordes, etc). The pool area is perfect for chilling out. Even with other guests around there are plenty of pool beds and long chairs. The property is well taken care, clean and decorated with good taste and charming "old" furniture and objects: the perfect picture of Provence :)

United KingdomThis rental turned into a horror story. We received multiple nocturnal bites which we presumed were mosquitoes, but realising we hadn’t seen or heard any we investigated further. To our shock we discovered an infestation of what we feared were bed bugs. Further research showed these to be spider beetles which are similar - these bite overnight and are the result of unhygienic conditions (look online). We complained to the owner who then blamed us for leaving the window open! This is ridiculous as the apartment is infested with them. She refunded our remaining days (minus commission!) but has refused to refund us for this awful stay. We told her she must get a specialist in and not continue renting it out, to be told she’ll call the police if we bother her again. Avoid booking here at all costs unless you like sharing your bed with bugs!
