Honestly everything went well.

Everything looked and smelled brand new, very comfortable facilities, right by the harbour and several restaurants and bars. Staff was helpful and nice.

The stairs at the front were a little high for a person of poor mobility but these look like the original in an old building. Not sure there’s anything to do except another handrail perhaps.

Very accommodating staff with good sense of humour. Comfortable room. We enjoyed the pool. Staff helpful with directions to parking and leaving luggage at reception. Excellent breakfast in lovely dining room with view over the port with very polite and attentive member of staff helping with coffee machine. Welcomed with a smile!

Can't beat location. We had a room with view on the pool and it was very quiet. Room was clean and bed very comfortable, we slept very well. Enjoyed the little balcony too.

The only thing I would say is that it would have been useful to know that the hotel had a height restriction on their car park because we have a roof box on our car which made it impossible to enter the car park. The staff were so helpful though and explained alternative parking in great detail. 👍

Very convenient location in the centre of La Rochelle opposite the harbour. The bed was extremely comfortable and the position of our room meant it was very quiet. There was aircon in the room and this was supplemented by a portable aircon unit which was a Godsend. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They asked whether we would prefer to speak English or French and we said we didn't mind but they did speak excellent English which was useful 😉 because of a parking problem we had.

No proper bar to keep us in the hotel, although lots of others close by to visit. car parking a little away and one of those awkward multi story carparks that worry you every corner you go round

Everything about this hotel was fabulous, location absolutely ideal, right on the harbour front, close to all other amenities. staff very helpful, and cleanliness of hotel was fantastic

There was some building work going on during the day which was a bit noisy. Our room at the back of the hotel must have been near a bar which was also noisy till quite late

pretty much liked everything

fantastic location, great to have a swimming pool in the center of the city, lovely and clean, staff really helpful. Considering we were in the center parking was quite good.
