There were three adults in the room, which was fine for a few days but would be a little cramped for a week. This was the size of room which we had reserved. No doubt roomier accommodation is available, if required.

Quaint, old fashioned style hotel within walking distance of train station, centre of town, and beach. Very pleasant atmosphere with pleasant staff. Good breakfast.

We had a twin room and found it a bit on the small side for two persons, only one chair, very small cupboard, the two beds filled the room practically completely

Many stairs (34) to get into the room, both up and down. Should only recommend restaurants that are open on that day & at that time. Most reception was laissez-faire; not many years ago even 2 & 3 star hotels took pride in helping visitors in their city. We stay longer where we feel we are welcomed and helped.

The hotel is an old mansion with lots of character, converted into 50+ rooms within a few blocks of the train station. Quiet neighborhood in a residential area near the beach and downtown Arcachon. Breakfast is available. The first receptionist (male) was very helpful with a map, where to get dinner after 8 pm on Monday night, points of interest....

We had a perfect weekend at Le Dauphin. Reception is open 24/7 and very helpful. The room is small but extremely clean and functional. Breakfast choice was also good. The location is very convenient walking distance from the beach, the city center and the train station.

The bedding wasn't adequate. There was insufficient pillows and minimal extras for warmth. There were no extras and the bathroom was tiny.

The Hotel is beautiful, vintage looking, with modern comfort, large rooms, marble floor, surrounded by trees.

Only negatives were the pool was engulfed with mosquitos when I got to it at 5pm I was looking forward to a sun bathe but I left swiftly after beeing bitten. and the ground floor room I had was above the beakfast room so there was a lot of early morning noise from this and the scraping of chairs - I would return to this hotel but ask for a higher floor

Lovely bright, modern room and a reasonable size for one (or two) bathroom had a full bath and clean and tidy. Good quiet location about a 10 minute walk from the train station and also down to the sea and piers. the staff were lovely and you can leave your bags in reception before check in and when you check out. Absolutely loved Arcachon and the lovely architecture, shops bars and restuarants

Shower of room 206 could not be installed. Swimmjngpool water was not clear

Pillows were lumpy and small. A/C was not good. Bathroom was vlean but very tired. I was not at the hotel for long but felt that I was an inconvenience to actually check out. I told the lady at reception about the pillows....she seem disinterested. I was a single traveller but I like a double bed in the hot weather. My room was twin beds that did not properly close and moved apart or had a ridge in the middle.
