Nothing we didn't like. Would love to have moved in!

We loved this stay so much! This renovated farm house is an incredible place set on a large portion of land with views for miles. We received a warm welcome and a choice of rooms which were both spacious and very well appointed. The house has a gorgeous outdoor seating area perfect for the warm evenings, which were peaceful with just the sounds of the birds and insects. There is also the use of a large lounge, dining, and kitchen area. Breakfast was lovely, and we felt at home for the whole time we stayed (three nights).

My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer.

We liked EVERYTHING about this property. Communication with hosts was great. The breakfast was terrific. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean and beautifully appointed. Bed was SO comfortable! The hosts were very helpful in assisting us with dinner reservations and other directions. Wish we could have stayed longer. Hope we can return!

Just the most beautiful place to stay . The hosts were absolutely wonderful, kind and informative . The house is outstanding, beautifully renovated and decorated. The room couldn't have been more comfortable, likewise the bed and the shower. So clean and welcoming. This accomodation sets a very high standard, hard to beat . Breakfast was also a similar standard with a good variety on offer and an omelette. Thank you for a lovely stay , I just wish we were staying longer .

Honestly, comparing this B&B with many others, every one is now contesting for second place, this B&B tops them all.

The hosts were friendly, gracious, and outgoing, the bedroom was commodious and the bed large and comfortable, and the bathroom also large, and functional as well as attractive. Form AND function co-exist well.

The single track road that has to be used to reach local restaurants might be considered a drawback to some drivers but it’s a quiet road.

A wonderful house with very friendly owners. The bedroom was very comfortable and roomy and the family sitting room / breakfast room was very welcoming. The owners were wonderful hosts. The house has been renovated to a high and tasteful standard and is in a quiet, relatively isolated position.

Off the beaten track, but well worth it to find a beautifully restored farmhouse snuggled up to the Cedar tree which gives it its name. Our hosts were welcoming, offering us tea on arrival and helping us find dinner for the evening. The room was gorgeous and well thought out, with lovely bathroom with bath, (which we were most disappointed not to have the opportunity to use!). The style was simple and chic and sympathetic to the old features of the house (rustic but modern with beams, shuttered windows etc.). There are restaurants a short drive away but be warned, if you are vegetarian you may not find anything to eat. We had to drive to Montignac for dinner, though had we realised, there is actually a vegetarian restaurant a short drive from the house! Another excuse to come back! Breakfast was delicious and offered everything we need, with a delicious cheese omelette an added surprise. Sadly the weather wasn't so good for our one-night stay otherwise we would have like to explore the grounds and make the most of our balcony. The passion and love the hosts have for their property and business is evident and was the perfect ending to our trip to the area.

The location is in a lovely picturesque setting but rather isolated for restaurant options. Restaurants can be reached within 15-20 minutes and the hosts kindly made a reservation for us on arrival.

The hosts were warm and friendly and willingly shared information about the area. The restored property was beautifully furnished and decorated. The facilities provided 5* comfort with luxurious en-suite bathroom and all amenities of the highest standard. The excellent breakfast including omelette option was served on a lovely sun drenched vine terrace.

It was very peaceful and relaxing which was just what we wanted from a short break. The hosts were fantastic, welcoming, friendly and happy to chat about the area & places to visit but also had a sense of just being quietly in the background. I loved the small details - towels smelling lovely and fab shower products. Helping yourself to fruit, coffee, tea, bottled water. Breakfast was just right, fresh fruit and pastries and one of the lightest omelettes I’ve ever eaten! The standard of the whole property was very high, beautifully decorated, high quality renovation and super clean. It was perfectly situated to visit lots of places without driving for too long (Sarlat is our new favorite town!).

Probably the best place we’ve stayed in all our travels throughout France. We received a great welcome and the whole property was superb. Our room large with dressing room & bathroom & everything was of the highest standard. Our balcony overlooked the countryside. Breakfast was amazing with ham & cheese omelettes as well as the usual lovely bread, croissants, yoghurt & fresh fruit.. all served by two attentive, friendly owners. We would return in a heartbeat!

Very nice and welcoming English-speaking couple. The house and accommodation were just perfect. Location is kinda lost in the middle of nowhere, very quite, but after a 15-20 min drive you reach many places of interest of the area. Oh, and wonderful breakfast by the way!
