A vehicle is necessary to get around. There is not much you can do without a vehicle. If you are travelling from outside Europe you need to ensure that you have an international drivers license. There are taxi's in the area if needed. The drivers are friendly and willing to assist although not may speak English so you will need to brush up on your french if you are not french speaking. We had a terrible experience at Casino supermarket with terrible behaviour from the security and racial profiling with our products being taken from us. They refused to access their security camera when requested to do so to avoid from escalating the situation and correct their approach and behaviour. Horrible!!! I would suggest shopping elsewhere other than Casino supermarche if you are a black tourist and non french speaking (to defend yourself) or being mindful when shopping there. Absolutely horrible experience from the Casino Supermaket staff and lack of accountability from them.

The hosts a absolutely, fantasic!!! Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is lovely. They went the extra mile to accomodate us and make our stay so lovely! An absolute pleasure! We woud return over and over again. :-)

Place located in quite and beautiful place with great view. Room is big, clean with balcony and view. We got really great sleep window is possible to close for darkness and there is no any sound. Breakfast was testy. Marie and Tierrie gave us warmest welcome that I’ve ever had is was like visited your friend house. I’ve been in hundreds of hotels and houses and this was one of the best in my life. Defiantly recommend this place.

Loved the good size of the doom, alpine feel welcoming hosts with delicious breakfast. We loved eating reblochonade in the evening and experiencing the nordic bath/sauna!

Everything were great

Amazing old chalet, the garden is so beautiful and the view is very special and relaxing. And Mary the host and owner welcome us with her smile all time on his face and help us to plan some trips and places to see all around. Because of her hospitality you feel comfortable and like in your home. We have been just me and wife but for sure the next year we will be back again with our 3 children. Thanks a lot Mary and see you soon

Gorgeous property, extremely well designed with luxurious fixtures and fittings. Everything was spotless and it was so peaceful and quiet. The view is spectacular, the breakfast was delicious and Marie was such a lovely host. We would highly recommend this place.

A really, really delightful place to stay. Exceptional location high up above the village of Viuz-en-Sallaz with outstanding views of mountains. Marie-Noelle and Thierry are thoughtful and attentive hosts who took good care of us and gave us a very nice breakfast on the sunny patio. Our room was very comfortable and we'll appointed. I look forward to staying here again.

-could be more plates, glasses, sharp cutting knife, cups, cook ware -wifi was slow but notified of this when we arrived, we were mostly outdoors so less of an issue though would be tough if you tried to do remote working -small detail though could add hooks in the bathroom

-great short stay destination from Geneva -very friendly and welcoming! -lots of activities to keep our young daughter occupied (eg heated pool, ping pong, trampoline and others games) -easy access to hikes -bbq access -amazing mountain views! -big bath towels -we didn't try the dinner though would like to next time!

Amazing location, exceptionally clean rooms and perfect freshly made breakfast. The hosts were also very kind, thoughtful and were always keen to help. Would 100% stay again.

the location was a bit far from us, since we were planning skiing. and it’s a ride from the main road. it’s a small matter.

Marie the host is absolutely the best, very nice and kind. Chalet decorations and accessories are superb! there’s a sauna outside and a hot bath to use!

It was too warm at night in the cabin and we couldn’t find a fan. The pool and sauna were a little too cold for us to be able to enjoy them.

The host is extremely nice and welcoming, and the cabin is really nice.

The surroundings of the chalet are beautiful. There is a great view from the chalets over the valley below. The hosts are very nice and welcoming and helpful. Thierry brought us pie after a hike, which was very nice. We had a lovely time. The pool is lovely and there is plenty to do around if you do not mind to drive a bit. We will come back!

there is no good view to the mountains although the owner told us before that there is view to the valley and mountains but actually covered by trees so you can’t see them. The property location in remote area which you will be far from services and no places for tourists.

the staff dealing very good and friendly and helpful. The property has historical stuffs which may be some guests like it and there is an open pool in the location.
