There isn’t much to fault in this place. If you are a light sleeper the cries of the peacocks and chickens might wake you.

It’s a mini adventure to get there, driving through narrow (bumpy but paved) country lanes, but it’s so worth it! In the garden you’ll find so many varieties of roses. It must smell heavenly in June. Chicken, peacocks and cats roam freely around the grounds. The host Emmanuel and Nathalie were very kind and welcoming. They have decorated the house with an amazing collection of objects which gave the house a homely feel. Everywhere we looked there was something new to discover. The two guest rooms are on the top floor with a joint living area. From the bed the view of the nearby farm was like a painting. The hidden bathroom in our room was a pleasant and luxurious surprise. All amenities are organic which to Emmanuel and Nathalie is a natural way of living, although they don’t advertise it. Lastly, the breakfast is delicious. We were spoilt for choice with the selection of teas and homemade jams. If you get the chance, stay here for a couple of days and discover the area. The beautiful village Oignt is a 15 minute drive away.
