We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Beautiful location, next to a little mountain river. There is a very nice terrace next to the river, that helps you to enter the fresh water for a cool swim. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are also ok. The hotel is very close to Corte, and still in the middle of nature. We had an excellent breakfast here!

Which means that you cannot go outside to enjoy the garden in theevening and have a drink, on top of this you have no choice than retreat in your room and no possibility to dry your swimming clothes! The lady at the counter not at all friendly. One wouldn’t date to ask anything 😀

United StatesTwo lead staff members were rude to customers. Powdered eggs at breakfast. No dinner restaurant (there was one up the road 600 meters—dangerous walk in the dark).
Gorgeous location, close to town, great Internet and air conditioning. Very clean, great cleaning staff. Two young servers at breakfast very welcoming. Fresh squeezed orange juice and lots of fruit at breakfast.

Very nice hotel directly on the road to the famous Restonica valley. The hotel has a very nice garden with a direct access to the river, own swimming pool, jacuzzi. They serve a very good breakfast. The rooms are quiet, beds comfortable.

SwitzerlandThere was no indication on booking.com that the hotel was undergoing renovations while we were there. There was no one at the reception to welcome us, nor when we wanted to check out, there was loud noise all day due to renovations, the pool was also empty and under renovation. There was no restaurant or bar and also nothing nearby the hotel either as it was quite a distance from the citadelle and located in the gorge. I am sure it will be nice when it is finished but we would have appreciated a warning of what to expect when we got there, which was a huge disappointment compared to the photos shown online. We also would have expected a much cheaper room rate given the circumstances and lack of all amenities. The hotel should not have accepted bookings during this time as they were not in any state to welcome guests.
The room was a good size.

GermanyThe owners and their attitude towards guests - completely focused on how they feel their guests should behave/have their holiday. Examples: - pool sign says pools opens at 7, we are told it opens only later. At check out the comment was: “how can you expect the pool to open if the breakfast is from 7:30-10:00?” - AC is set to “heating” only… (with 27 degrees outside). Comment from owners “it’s cold outside so we decided to have it to only heating” - whirlpools are advertised. One was supposed to be working, fine. Comment from owners: “everyone is touching the buttons, it should start working now, did you check today?” (At checkout) - garden is unmaintained at end-of-season, a quick brush a day (esp pool chairs) could already make it lots more inviting - when addressing these comments to the owners, the answer was “I see you think you are right, but it’s fine” - well intended feedback was so aggressively and customer unfriendly responded to, it’s a shame.

United StatesUpon arrival we asked if breakfast was included, the male receptionist laughed and said, "Not at the price you paid through booking.com, you wasted a lot of money!" The female who seemed to run the place, a grumpy, blond lady seems like she needs a holiday. She locked us out one evening after telling us we couldn't be outside by the river after 7 pm. We had to climb a fence and she reprimanded us the next day for climbing over it to get inside--even though we noticed other staff members doing the same thing. Additionally, this lady watered the garden furniture at least twice a day-the cushions absorbed all the water and were constantly wet. The eggs always looked hazardously runny, and the breakfast meat was not the best quality. The croissants and yogurts, fruit, and cheese were good. We were also not "allowed" to bring in "picnics" which I assumed was outside food-even though there were fridges in the rooms. When the same lady saw my son eating a hamburger we had brought from town to eat at the river, the lady scowled and told us off (my French is not good enough to know what she said. We just nodded and walked to the river.
Housekeeping was swift and efficient, towels were replaced, and beds were made. The location of the river and town was lovely. The breakfast attendants were attentive and friendly.

SwitzerlandStaff of hotel was rather rude or had at least a very special sense humor (they were so kind and told us that we have overpaid each room by EUR 60 per room and night and that they are now considering to adjust their prices since there are idiots paying more to booking.com than to them directly). The hotel is very remote from Corte. Parking is limited and difficult to access with a wide car. Pool is standart but could have been cleaned before use. One jacuzzi was not accessible and the other one was partially damaged/not working; same as the AC in the rooms btw. Rooms were clean. Overall the most expensive stay in Corsica in the least attractive hotel. We can definitively not recommend that hotel!
The restaurant and food in the neighbouring hotel. The calm. The rather large rooms.
