As they complete some of the projects and landscaping it will only improve. Our room was a bit different than I expected from the photographs, but it turned out to be wonderful anyway.

I would recommend this to anyone with a car. The hosts/owners went above and beyond to make an exceptional experience for their guests. The breakfasts and the one special dinner were amazing, as were the quality of the beds. We stayed for four nights as our base for exploring by car, bike and foot in the Vezere. It was always a pleasure to return for a swim and a relaxing evening.

Domaine de Fleurie is a great place for a relaxing holiday but with plenty to do in the area. The hosts are lovely and have plenty of advice on the surroundings. The property is tastefully decorated and the bed was super comfy. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. All in all a fab break 😁

    Nothing what so ever.

Chris and Julie are the best hosts, you can think of. The place is situated up a hill side turning west with a lovely view over the valley below. The rooms are newly restored and very comfortable. Breakfast is prepared and served with free choice of bread, juice and so on.

they are working to improve the driveway. heavy rains lead to wash-out. it is not suitable for a sports car, but regular vehicles have no problems.

This is a B&B in a remote and quiet location. This was my second stay. This time I brought my mother. It is a central spot for visiting prehistoric sites as well as castles, cliff dwellings and ancient churches.

When we drove up to Chris and Julie’s lovely manor house on a hill overlooking the Vezere river valley, we were greeted by a jolly British former engineer reborn as a wonderful host. During our four day stay, he was friendly and helpful  in every way. (We did not see much of Julie as she was hosting her family.) When we asked if there was a washing machine so we could do our laundry, he did it for us while we went on a tour of the ancient Cro-Magnon caves and even hung the clothes out to dry. When it was evident that we preferred  to have breakfast in our room rather than in the lovely dining room, he brought it to us each day, making perfect espresso the old fashioned  way. He suggested hikes and restaurants, and printed out a back country tour that we took on our way to St. Emilion, providing us with a splendid Sunday afternoon instead of being forced to hang out in the tiny town overrun with tourists until our accommodations were ready. Oh, the room, grounds and swimming pool were excellent. We look forward to seeing you again, Chris. You set a splendid standard of a  country manor host.

Driveway was a bit tricky after recent rain.

Julie and Chris were perfect hosts. Carried out bags up the stairs. Suggested places to visit, and restaurants. Also places of interest. Beautiful breakfast prepared fresh.

    nothing!

We had a fantastic stay at Domaine de Fleurie for 5 nights. The B&B has a very welcoming feel to it with a lovely breakfast/lounge room and terrace. The room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed and large bathroom. We enjoyed the terrace and fantastic pool with a view! The stay was made by the exceptional welcome from the host. Extremely thoughtful, helpful and friendly, Chris made us feel at home throughout the stay. He also went over and above to accommodate our 6 month old during our stay. The food was great, brilliant breakfast and we enjoyed a delicious evening meal cooked by Julie on the terrace. I would highly recommend a stay at Domaine de Fleuire!

    Nothing to complain about!

A great place in terms of quietness, cleanliness and its location on the outskirts of Tursac lying high above the Vézère Valley with a wonderful view of the surroundings. Above all, we enjoyed the hospitality of our two hosts Julie and Chris providing us with an excellent breakfast, freshly and individually made. The room was nice, spacious, very clean and tastefully furnished. It's a good place within easy driving distance to explore caves, prehistoric sites, ancient towns and other tourist attractions from. It is well worth a visit!

We really could have used a refrigerator in our room though the hosts said they would be adding one soon. We did have to ask for new towels during our 4 night stay. The location was beautiful and quiet but a bit more remote than had expected from restaurants.

The hosts were super nice and helpful. Breakfast was great and our room was plenty big for 3 people. We loved having our own terrace with an outdoor table and umbrella.

The location, overlooking the village and valley, is charming. The accommodation is modern, airy and spacious. We visited out of season so weren't able to make the most of the inviting pool and seating area but Julie did cook for us and we had a lovely meal we all enjoyed. If you're feeling energetic, there are plenty of nice walks out from the house and along the Vezere. Local caves well worth a visit. Thanks Chris and Julie for welcoming us to your lovely home.

Our room was in the first floor of a separate building that was located on the upper end of a large meadow overlooking the Vezere valley. The ground floor served as a large living room with sofas, TV , a refrigerator and a table for eating brakfast and making picnic. Since the other room was not occupied we had the living room for ourselves. We didn't use the pool that was next to the building. An excellent breakfast, including fresh-fruit salads and croissants, was delivered to us every morning by the landlord. He was also very helpful in any respect and provided us with lot a of useful information.
