We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe hotel I suspect was built in the 70s and is a shadow of its former self they look to be renovating but the corridors and room are a little old tired and shabby. I was dismayed to find on arrival the Spa was closed so early too.
Nice location and grounds and the restaurant food was good and the staff were nice.

Spa was amazing, very welcoming, treatments excellent, will definitely go back, in particular to see Fred who did an amazing massage. Food was good, just one member of staff who was a bit off!! The rest of the restaurant staff were lovely in particular Fredawar who was extremely helpful. WILL BE BACK 😁 Reception staff very welcoming, polite & informative 🙂

United KingdomNo ketchup at breakfast. Bathroom outdated. I sat on a chair in the bar that was soaking wet. There was a leak in the ceiling above and nobody moved the chair.
Nice to see scrambled eggs for breakfast. The view was gorgeous out over the golf course. Most staff spoke English . There was a covered area to off load suitcases which was great as it was raining. Car park was close to front door.

FrancePleased to say. Nothing. We understand the hotel is slowly being refurbishing and look forward to it being finished.
We first visited in July for a one night stay which we increased to two nights. We had some issues during that visit which were acknowledged by the hotel General Manager. We said we would return and we did. The outdoor swimming pool looked so clean in comparison to previous visit, and where we had experienced hostility and a negative attitude from a member of staff last time that same member of staff was genuinely friendly, kind and so helpful. Full marks to the management team over these two matters. Our stay was perfect and once again we will be back. Looking forward to lazing round the pool with snow outside.

FranceOutdoor swimming pool looked as though it had just been opened up after the winter. There was algae on the floor and a large thick rim all the way round the sides. We did see a workman poor chlorine into the pool early on our second morning but no attempt was made to brush the algae away nor did we see the workman take a water sample before adding chlorine. Essential to be able to calculate the amount of chlorine needed. We attempted to get lunch at 14:33 from the bistro but was told by who I think may of been the bar/restaurant manageress that food was finished. On finding out that lunch service didn't finish until 15:00 I returned to the bistro and once again at 14:55 and spoke to the lady who then told me it was only open for drinks. On mentioning this at reception I was told that the bistro was indeed open for food until 15:00 and then even if hot food wasn't available we could have been offered a sandwich or salad. On checking out the next morning I wished the lady a good morning as she walked through reception as she arrived for work, which she pointedly ignored and walked straight past my wife and I.
Indoor pool and spa very good, Bedroom, nice size with comfortable bed. However, the room as is most of the hotel is very tired and lacking in general everyday maintenance. Receptionists, on arrival Cloe was fantastically helpful and pleasant, on departure Cloe and Pauline were on duty and once again they were so nice and pleasant. Food in the restaurant was exceptional and breakfast in the panoramic restaurant (6th level) was also excellent. The settings were lovely, we were on the 4th level in a junior suit and the view across the golf course and beyond was magnificent We enjoyed our one night stay so much we stayed an extra night.

FranceWe had a prestige room but it really needs redecorating to achieve the room rates. It was clean and comfortable but just needs upgrading. No information in the room nor in the lift so you really have no idea what is on each floor.
Excellent staff and immaculately clean. Beautiful bed with stunning views over the golf course. Room was very quiet and the spa facilities were excellent as well.

The food was off the chart 5*, we had a young Asian man waiter who could speak English, he was quite frankly superb, his attention to detail, his kindly way and his determination to make sure we had a great experience was paramount, and we did, the food was wonderful, the service sublime, the ethos 100% correct. Would I go again, you bet I would. Well done. Besides that the room was spotless clean the views excellent and the location safe and secure, breakfast was again 5* with great choices, everything tasted like it was just made, fresh and tasty. I left feeling like I had just been pampered! Great place.
