There was nothing we didn't like... it served our purpose perfectly and we felt very happy and at home

The property was very comfortable and we felt very welcomed by our hosts Paul and Emma into their home - they were also super helpful when we had car trouble!! The swimming pool was very inviting although we didnt get a chance to use it The breakfasts were amazing and Emma was very attentive in making sure that we liked everything and changed elements to get it perfect for us each day We will certainly go back and stay again

The room was spacious and more than adequate with a large walk in shower. Breakfast was taken outside as the weather was very warm it was very wholesome and varied, not just continental but English if required. Although we didn't use the pool there is a large one available with a nice relaxation area. There is also a communal lounge area wit TV if required, plus many books etc. The hosts Paul and Emma went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable time and advised us of places to visit and eat.

It’s in a quiet and calm location and it’s a small B&B so it has a lovely feel to it. Emma and Paul, the owners, are a lovely couple and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs.

Peaceful location with super welcoming hosts. Relaxed introduction to everything we needed to know about our studio apartment. It was well equipped and we really enjoyed chatting to our hosts over a drink! Was great to be able to use the pool and finished the day off perfectly. Would like to have stayed longer.

The hosts Paul and Emma were incredible and so welcoming. The accommodation was clean, well kept and some really nice touches in what is provided. Breakfast every morning was a delight. All round, easily one of the best stays we've had across our years of travelling in terms of facilities and value.

We were simply amazed. Everything was beyond all expectations. First of all the hosts - such a friendly, supportive and outgoing couple they are - Emma and Paul! They welcomed us as friends and treated us so for the whole time spent at the place. The hosts were interested in everything we did and came up with helpful recommendations. The location itself is beautiful, ideal for people looking for a quiet and secluded place. "Far from the madding crowd", so to speak, All the facilities are neatly cared for, stylish, in perfect order and maintained with taste and respect for the history and traditions of the Cognac region. In the rooms nothing you need for a good holiday is missing. The swimming pool was a relish in the hot days. If you care for indoor games, fitness or table tennis a "salle des jeux" is at your disposal in one of the houses. The breakfasts served by both the hosts were sumptuous, tasty and served in a beautiful patio behind the house. The atmopshere of the place was charming. Hope we will return one day! Thank you for all once again, Emma and Paul!

You'll be hard pushed to find better in quality or value.

What wasn't to like. House has been kept in immaculate condition. Rooms & gites are all of a good size & were all very clean. Hosts Emma & Paul could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much for them to help. Breakfast well worth having, but you'll need to diet afterwards or use the gym facilities on site. Large grounds & a heated pool. House is 10 minutes or so from Cognac & the coast is an hour away. If you want to travel further away trains are available only a short distance away.

What a beautiful setting! Emma and Paul are amazing hosts. They really went out of their way to welcome us. The rooms are beautiful and spacious with everything you need. As soon as you open the main door you are greeted with the smell of lavender. It really is. wonderful place and we felt like we were staying with friends. Can’t wait to go back!

Very little; it’s a 10 min drive into Cognac and no restaurants close by for a meal.

Great hosts; warm and friendly. Great facilities with the patio, pool and guest lounge area. Breakfast was fantastic with a mix of continental and if required a little English. If we brought in our own food for lunch, everything provided to eat and drink and then happily cleared up for us despite our protests.

We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt like home in this wonderful and very well renovated house. We enjoyed our large and comfortable bedroom and the excellent service offered by the hosts, the quality of the breakfast, their kindness and delicate attention. We will come back.

i would have liked to arrive earlier to enjoy the beautiful piscine

Magical Moment in a peaceful place with more than perfect hosts We had the unique chance to find this place after driving nearly 1000 km to this region. As we arrived on Wednesday every restaurant around was closed, how lucky we were. Emma and Paul, the hosts allowed us to have our little pick-nick we bought on their beautiful terrace (sun set program included). But on top they made us a little salad, gave us all we needed (glasses for the wine, etc.) some more bread an this before and in the pause of the semi-final England-Denmark (Emma and Paul are British) As it was not sure it would stop raining the proposed us and prepared us as well inside and outside everything, also for breakfast. Hospitality at its best
