We though it was wonderful but if you don't want to have breakfast/dinner with other guests or you don't have a car this place is not for you.

Peaceful countryside location, real 'Escape to the Chateau' experience with wonderful hosts and a beautiful and well appointed room. Small indoor and outdoor pools in nice grounds. Well situated for exploring the western Loire valley.

A beautiful chateau with tasteful furnishings, great rooms and a spacious park with pools and hot tub. Paul, Bénédicte and Alberto are fantastic and enthusiastic hosts who leave nothing to be desired. The breakfasts and dinners are very good and dining together is a pleasure. I can highly recommend this beautiful place.

Fabulous Chateau with very friendly hosts. Beautiful large room, very clean. Wonderful pool with sun loungers and parasols. Lovely breakfast (gluten free options) which can be taken indoors or in the garden. A delicious 3 course evening meal (28 euro) is served daily. Thank you Paul and Benedicte for adapting my meals to suit my gluten free diet. We'd love to return one day.

A lovely castle in the loire woth all the amenities you need, comfortabele chique rooms, good food and very friendly owners who meet your every need. The castle grounds are lovely.. two Pools and a jacuzzi, and lots of space

Breakfast on the terrace was a delight with waitress service and hot food cooked to order. The Chateau interior stayed cool even in very hot weather and the pool was very welcome.

Our stay was too short!

After booking our 3 night stay, we had some doubts about this venue and especially the available services. However, Benedicte and her husband Paul, together with their supporting team, do a great job! They welcome guests in a spontanious, very friendly manner and make you feel at home instantly. Paul's evening dinners are simple, made from local produce and very tasty. We found the interaction between guests/hosts quite pleasant and enjoyable. We had a great time at Chateau Vary, and the people running it are real gems!

Outstanding location and ambience, as well quality and maintenance of equipment everywhere in the accommodation from rooms to common areas including fantastic outdoor dining area, gardens, swimming pool (also on the back of very recent renovation works). The place has been recently renovated to a great standard. The rooms are lovely and the beds are comfy. We had a great dinner there and the owners made a real effort to ensuring we had a great stay. The wine selection was awesome and Lego the dog will ask you to take him for a walk.

This family owned and recently renovated has everything one could imagine. It has all the modern comforts and features of an upscale home to accommodate travelers. We were lucky enough to get a tour of many of the rooms all decorated tastefully and all had ensuites. The food is delicious and included eggs, ham and pancakes for breakfast. Dinner was slow cooked roast beef with potatoes, carrots from the garden, salad and apple tarte with ice cream for dessert. Great internet and they speak English and French. Extremely clean and comfortable beds. It is a must stay kind of place.
