The sound of dripping water started in the evening and ended late after the midnight. Also, for some mystery reason they forced us to leave keys on the reception each time we leave the hotel

One staff member was not up to scratch, even packed up my room because she didn't check the bookings for the next day. Gave me all sorts of grief when she was on shift. The other staff members went out of their way to help with whatever they could. No apology from her was ever given, ashame she brought the other team members down.

The location was amazing, not far from the station and right in the centre of Paris, walking distance to everything.

the 3 fights of stairs to get to my room on the 3rd floor, My room was at the back I'm guessing so not a good view from the window just the back yard, I knew there was not a toilet in the room, this didn't bother me, I was surprised to have a shower and sink, personaly I would prefer a toilet and sink

I did not have breakfast, the location seemed good, I only stayed one night, the room and bathroom were clean, and while the bed was comfortable, it was a little narrow

Old building without lift. 3rd, 4th and above all 5th floor could tough to reach and housekeeping really hard for staff.

Great location in a pedestrian street in Saint Lazare District, near all shops, restaurants, metro, bus and facilties. Nice welcome and fairly good breakfast. Good value for money for this area.

Bad sheet have ants, and the water need down reception to get , no convenience and toilet need share but no washing hand equipment...

I didn't like that the toilet was outside in the hall and the tiny shower was in the room. but that was just different than most low budget hotels in Europe

It was a block away from the Lazar station so that was a great location for us. Some of the hotel staff were great and others not so great, but all helpful to get us where we wanted to go

- One person bed is really on the small side, maybe good for a child but not for grown ups. - Room light is really bright, maybe helpfull if you feel depressed ;). Luckily during my stay but another lamp was installed and brightness was easy on the eyes. Thank you! - Tips: a lamp for the small desk and a small night stand table next to the bed would be very welcome. - and WiFi is very slow - if other guests come back to their rooms the door slams really hard behind them, a piece of rubber between the door post and door would come in handy

The Ninth is a wonderful place to be, so close to Metro St. Lazare (150m to your left on the main road) and Auber and Havre-Caumartin on Hausmann Ave are also closeby. Rooms at Hotel Louvain are clean and rooms are cleaned and beds come with fresh sheets every day. Louvain is okay if you stay outside all day and only come to sleep and shower. Make sure you book a room with a toilet otherwise you have to share one. Staff is friendly. - Super: Rue de Budapest is home to 6 or 7 Chinese restaurants and sushi bars!, Crepe& Coffee bar at the entry of the street and a Korean restaurant at the right hand side of the main road (75m to your right). - ATM at 150m to your right side of the main road. - Mr. Masy and mr. Mustapha and cleaning staff are really kind

The bathroom was very very small The wall of the room was very thin - You can hear the metro underground and the lady who cleaned the room talking on the hallway In the first day it was a very strong smell of dezinfectants in the room I did not like the fact that I had to let the key to the reception when we got out because in one night, late in the night, we had to wait for the reception boy to give the key because no one was at the desk

The daytime receptionist is not that friendly, the shower was broken and I had to hold the hose to take a shower The bathroom stall is also VERY small.

Rooms not very sound proof so if you are very sensitive to sound, this may be a minus. I personally did not mind. I did not notice that there was no lift in the profile and I had a large heavy suitcase. Opted to leave it in the storage room and took only what I needed up to the room so convenience: Staff very friendly and did offer to bring my suitacase up to the room when packing to leave so this was much appreciated.

Great location and could walk to almost all main sites. Being near the station offered multiple options for getting around. The quartier felt busy and with many people walking around and felt safe even late at night when walking back to hotel.

Everything was lovely but 2 minor issues- general architecture of the neighbourhood makes it kinda loud even with the closed windows (metro sounds and general traffic from the street close by), can't really complain but def recommend getting ear plugs The main light in the room was way too bright, it would be nicer to have a smaller table lamp, just an idea. Otherwise highly recommend the place!

Poor internet connection. It would also be nice to have an electric kettle for tea or coffee in the room.

An excellent hotel location, everything is close by, the staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean, cleaned daily. Great for traveling alone, the rooms are quite small so for 2 people it might be too small.

Was really bad wifi and we didn’t like the thing with shower, had to do tricks with it, turn it on and off in hope hot water comes asap.

It was an aesthetic place, amazing interior, friendly and supportive stuff and we also liked a little Ami Marlen (dog)! Breakfasts are good, rooms are clean and spacious. The location is very nice.
