How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

A beautiful, warm & fully equipped home managed by wonderful Romuald and Linda. We came to Paris as tourist & are leaving with lifelong friends. The home is cosy, with everything that family’s would need from a fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer secure entrance and environment .. cosy three bedrooms..In addition while touring our dad had a medical emergency, and Romuald the owner drove for an hour to be with us at the hospital, & helped us with everything we needed to be safe and comfortable. Thank you Romuald and Linda, we are forever grateful.

Bedrooms were poorly lit. Could do with more lighting. Could be much more homely quite easily. Also, no hand-wash basin in the toilet which was separate to the bathroom.
Warm spacious apartment. Comfortable beds. The owners kept in touch constantly. Not far from metro station Les Agnettes.

It would have been great to have another bathroom - but we just coordinated and everything worked fine.
Whilst not in the centre of Paris, the property is easily reached by metro. There is a supermarket, and other shops nearby, plus restaurants and a McDonalds! Buy a Navigo pass (don't forget your passport photo) so you can get around easily. The property is warm and spacious, fitting 8 people easily (one couple sleeping on a super comfortable sofa bed}. The kitchen has all amenities including dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. The bathroom and toilet are separate, a little basic but clean and neat. Communication with the host was really easy, he often responded to queries within minutes and was very amenable to our requests.

Not much, just on the last day of our staying, there wasn’t much hot water and we had to use a cold one to take a shower.
The place was very spacious, rooms were very big. The neighbourhood was calm and the apartment was situated near the public transport, which is pretty nice. Thanks to our host who was very friendly, kind and helped us with all of our questions. There weren’t much problems finding the keys.

L'équipe de nettoyage could do a better job, attention to details is needed.
Very spacious, suitable for large families/groups, quite close to 2 metro stations (Les Agnettes and Asnières-Les Courtilles on ligne 13), well equipped, quiet neighbourhood. Bonus: kind hosts.

Cleanliness, facilities, size of the Apartment, Kitchen facility, Parking facility, Wifi. Host was easily and all the time reachable (even during the late nights :) ) We had a wonderful and safe stay!

There was nothing I could complain about!
I loved that the owners of the flat were always reachable and very friendly. When we had questions or changes in our plans, the owners were always trying to help and make our stay as comfortable and secure as it could get. Instructions were also very clear and we even got videos so we knew right away what to do for checkin and out. The appartment was also very lovely and I was surprised about the size, it was very spacious! All rooms were clean and the kitchen a dream! I would absolutely book this place again if I visit Paris again!

For us, a group of two adults and 5 children, the location and property were excellent. Less than 10 minutes walking to the metro and than another 12 minutes to the heart of Paris. The owners were very helpful and guided us through check-in etc. perfectly. The apartment is located in a safe residential neighborhood and it was nice meeting children playing football in the yard. Maybe it's not for those who like very fancy places, but you will find there all you need and it's all tidy. Suitable for both short and longer stays.

the flat was not really clean. no wash basin in toilet. lot of garbage in neighborhood. parking under the Building too narrow to drive. we were asked to remove bed sheets and empty trash. flat needs maintenance, examples: broken door lock, noisy toilet flush, no proper lighting in rooms.
Flat is spacious. instructions to access building and parking were handy.

Wasn’t so clean and some clothes were left in washing machines and dishes in dishwasher! Doesn’t smell good as well.
