Unfortunately there were mosquitoes and my face had gotten bitten 2-3 times, having some cutleries in the kitchen would be useful (maybe there were but I couldn’t find it).

Love the decor, Nic was an excellent host, instructions to access apartment was super clear, shower was fantastic, perfect apartment size!

Too far out of town and towels were very stiff and starchy. No lift for suitcases and no where in bedroom for cases

The inflexibility of check-in and the ''AirBnB" experience of having to clean up a room that you paid for. Upon arrival we asked politely if we could enter the room a bit earlier than 16.00 as it was raining. The reply was that it would cost us 10 euros.

The balcony was a great touch and the shower was amazing! The managing company is very professional and helpful. The neighbourhood felt safe.

A little bit far away from the city centre, but there is a bus nearby that you can catch.

It has all the facilities you need. Great bathroom, very clean, modern decor it was very stylish. Easy check in. Netflix is already installed as well!

1) I had paid a 20euro surcharge for an early check in of midday, after my partner had injured his knee and wrist in the days prior. (Normal check in time was not until 4pm. i feel a 4pm check in is completely unreasonable). Anyway, the (second ) door code to get into the flat did not work because, despite confirming the extra payment, the owner hadn’t adjusted the code for our earlier check in. 2) Despite the website claiming English was spoken by the flat’s provider, the person answering the phone failed to understand what I was telling her I.e. that we couldn’t get in. It was fifty five minutes later that the adjustment was finally made to the code, during which time we were anxiously standing outside the flat. 3) there should be a notation on this place to warn about its unsuitability for elderly people or those who aren’t very fit. There are twenty five stone steps inside the building going up to the door of the flat. No lift. We’re in our mid 70s and although quite strong in normal circumstances, hauling suitcases up 25 steps with an injured wrist and knee was extremely difficult. 4) one of the reasons for-my selection of this place was that it had a balcony. However the sole access to it was really hard, because of the height of the steps to it. I measured the two steps required to get on to the balcony. The first was 13 inches high, the second just under 18 inches high. It was actually a bit dangerous to use, there’s no hand rail or anything to steady yourself with. 5) There is quite an emphasis on leaving the place clean,and tidy, washing up and putting dishes away etc, however bed linen hadn’t been pressed, and cookware had been put away wet. 6) Describing this as ‘ Luxury apartment’ is quite the stretch. There’s absolutely no ‘luxury’ about it. It’s just functional, with no lift, quite small, in a dingy building. NB I note others have found cutlery hard to locate, it’s in a ‘secret drawer’ above the cookware. It took us a while to find it.

The place is reasonably clean and functional. The bed was comfortable. The shower was good.

*Instructions for entering to the asset weren't perfect (although managed to enter to the flat after success to call to Nicolas (Whatsapp would be an huge Upgrade!), And some visual sign for "Dreamy Apartment" *The deposit required , was hard to accomplish due to we were using local french sim during the stay and couldn't get the security code for deposit through SMS) *As Israelis coming from hot country with air conditioners everywhere it's hard to get to without one.... There is window in the bedroom although. *Shampoo and soap would be very usable and nice🙏as tourists usually not carrying it... Would be upgrade with very low cost.

It's not very far from the touristic center of lyon, walkable (40~ min) , clean, good facilities ( towels warmer, hot water , Nespresso machine with capsules,, Netflix , 5.0 GHz wifi Good VFM .
