There wasn't much not to like, really

A small, elegant, family-run hotel within easy reach of the sea, the Casino and the Basque restaurants that surround Les Halles. An egg - boiled or fried - and local cheese accompanied the traditional breakfast in the dining room. The perfect base for exploring.

Basement room meant room was dark and very humid, making it difficult to sleep.

It was very warm so a fan in the room would have been useful! Had to leave window open but noise from road was loud

There's not much we didn't like. We wet the floor every time we showered, but hey, we're on holiday!

Located right on the central square and Biarritz is so small that getting around to the popular spots by the water was a pleasant 10 minute walk. Friendly host and the hotel has a cosy family feel to it. The entrance lobby doubles as their family living room which was definitely unique and guarantees you a greeting every time you walk in!

Very difficult to find parking spots .

The hotel has a super location Very close to everything. Rooms are very basic and classic , but it has own charms . But we are impressed by the city so everything is ok. Our greetings to Eric )

The place although comfy and very clean was a bit out dated and could maybe do with aa update. the internet was slow so we ended up using our internet to watch TV in the room. It could may do with some coffee making facilities in the room as well.

The area was very central and easy to get to the market or the beach (about 5 min walk). we had parking nearby. The owners were very helpful in any way they could, and the bathroom towels were so soft they were incredible, I often wonder how they get them so soft!

A shower screen by the bath would stop water splashing all over sink and immediate floor. This was annoying though the shower itself was good with decent pressure

The room we had was situated kind of underground that the room was little bit humid.

The breakfast is super good and staff are really nice! The location is very good that you can reaxh everywhere by foot.

The cost of the room was too high if we compare it to its services, furniture and to the very limited view it is possibile to have from the windows. I believed that its cost reflected a beautiful view over the sea, but it wasn't the case.

I liked the position of the hotel, very close to the main landmarks of Biarritz. The breakfast is not included: we tried one time and we liked it.

Kettle in room and a small fan given hot weather in august. Price a little high for type of accommodation but city is short of rooms and gets full up.

Great location, close to everything. Large room & bathroom with plenty of fully opening windows which lets the breeze in during the night as no aircon. Did not try the breakfast.

No kettle in the room. I like to wake up early and have a cup of coffee which i could not do. Breakfast only opened at 8am and I'm normally up by 6am. If there was a kettle in the room i could have had my first coffee on the balcony which would have been blissful. I also like to have a cup of tea before bed, which i could not do. I think the missing kettle severely impacted my stay and for this reason i would not book again. Its the first hotel I've ever stayed at that didn't have tea/ coffee making facilities.

Great location, a short 5 minute walk to the 'main beach'. Manger was very helpful. Room was large with lovely little secluded balcony.

Charming building with a lovely interior in a great location. Staff were most helpful in recommendations for the local area and restaurants. Hotel room very clean and met all our requirements. Lovely breakfast on the terrace, freshly cooked and served by the Madame.

Breakfast was a bit expensive for what you get, and communication was difficult since I don't speak French and the lady serving breakfast didn't speak English. Also, there's no AC so you'll need to open the window. You'll have to choose between mosquitoes or heat.
