Our room was on the top floor & the last set of steps were steep. Also we went down a long hallway with low beams to the toilet.

The host asked us if we were going out for dinner or if she could make us a French dinner & we accepted. It was superb. She provided salad, breads & cheese, pea soup, lamb shepherd’s pie & chocolate mousse. It was very tasty. The first time I had lamb & loved it. She spoke good English so no trouble communicating.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

It is a beautifully appointed, peaceful, gem, just off the autoroute. Totally private annexe with everything in it. Very comfortable bed. Evening meal was a lovely home cooked dinner with a bottle of wine, great taste and excellent value.

This is the second time we have stayed with Veronique. Another lovely stay. Room very comfortable and peaceful. Slept very well. We enjoyed a lovely meal cooked by Veronique on arrival and breakfast the next day.

Veronique provided a very warm welcome. The house is beautiful and the room we stayed in was lovely. The bed was really comfy! Our son loved the trampoline and colouring, games and books that were provided. Veronique cooked us a delicious meal. The location is excellent as a stopover (we were heading back to Calais for the Eurotunnel), it is only a few minutes from the main road, but far away enough to be very quiet and peaceful.

Being super critical it was a little stuffy in the main bedroom, maybe a fan would be beneficial on a hot night. It certainly did not detract from our lovely stay.

This property was perfect for us. It was just off the motorway and en route to the ferry port. The place was spotlessly clean and Veronique was a lovely host.

There was nothing to dislike about the accommodation . The only downside for us was that the nearby restaurants were closed on that day.

The location was perfect for taking thetunnel the next morning. An easy route in about 30minutes. The house and grounds were magnificent and the host was gracious and welcoming. The house was quiet, the facilities excellent and the breakfast was first class.

can't really say anything bad about this place simply because l like pretty much everything there except l was disappointed about the swimming pool wasn't ready to be used in the middle of summer.

about breakfast, it's a bit sweet. jams, fruit salad fresh bread, and baguette which is ok but if you are a fan of full English breakfast this one it's not for you but it's 's so many restaurants around the area so you won't be disappointed. Veronique, she's a lovely lady who welcomed us so warmly and treated us so nice make our time unforgettable.

Room not ensuite and slightly cramped. The rope that serves as a banister for steep staircase needs reattaching - it doesn't feel entirely safe.

Veronique was so welcoming after a long day’s driving. Lovely things for children to enjoy in the garden (trampoline and swing ball). The dinner (especially the chocolate mousse) and breakfast were lovely. The room was very comfortable and we all slept so well! Whole stay was great, would recommend and will be returning.

Great stay in a quiet location despite the are seeming busy. There were queues through Rouen but it was a haven on arrival. Nice room, gardens. Looks like families are well catered for (with children). Lovely hostess. I requested a meal which was home cooked and tasty. Good value.. Secure parking.
