Bathroom/toilet were separate with awkward doorways and unless you are under 5’ tall you bump your head on the boiler while using the toilet . The general areas seemed a bit run down

We had a very bad check-in experience. We arrived tired, around 13:00 and we patiently waited until 16:00 (pretty late for a checkin-in), which made us feel like we were competing in an endurance reality show. But wait, the fun continued with an extra session of waiting, since our room was still not ready on time. The receptionists... well, let's just say the training in friendliness was somewhere in the "so-so" range. It seemed like they entered a competition for "Who Can Be the Least Welcoming?" and took the competition seriously. But, as they say, it's important to keep the mind agile and in constant exercise, so the staff deserves credit for keeping our nerves sharp. The towels, oh, the towels. If someone said they were trying to save space by adopting a minimalist style, we'd believe it. After all, they were the perfect size for a pocket elf. The feeling of drying off with a hand towel was undoubtedly an innovative experience. And the door that wouldn't close... A true test of strength and endurance. This was our complimentary physical training during the stay. Slamming the door became our new favorite morning activity.

The lone star in our hotel drama was the amazing location. We were right in front of the beach. Plus, being close to good restaurants and downtown provided us with the perfect excuse to escape the exciting hotel adventures whenever possible.

Very old and decadent infrastructure. Comments talking about needing significant renovations are fair. It must have been a great place that missed renewals for 20 years.

this hotel no longer meets the current requirements of a modern hotel. The location would be very good. The building should be replaced completely.

The Hotel is well positioned and okay for the price. I recommend it for guests who do not have high demands.

the appartement itself, there was a bathroom leak, the chip system didn’t work several times and we had to try for 15min to enter the appartment , nobody on site to help after 6pm. the whole residency is old and need serious refresh.

The room could have been a little bit cleaner and additional cooking facilites could also be useful. The technology in the apartment was a little dated but not the worst either.

The location was very handy, right next to the beach and there was also a pool which was very clean that was an added bonus. The rooms had been very spacious. The staff are very responsive and the room was very spacious with good facilities.

Swimming pool water was green a killer for view on sea. Deco is from another time.

View on sea fabulous but not with green pool. Property is just beat up and need a good amount of renovation. it did the job for us who needed to spend one night near chambre d’Amour. Fair. Price should be reflecting impression.

Access to the room was not that easy, the lift served one section of the building and we had a long walk to our room from the lift! We thought the charge for breakfast a bit high at 13Euros so we found an excellent breakfast for 7Euros at the beach bar just outside the hotel

What was not good was a poorly marked access intercom which did not work to contact staff from the outside upon arrival to gain access to the property in spite of having reservations. Not good. We could not enter the property , until fortunatley for us another guest let us in. We waited a long time.

What was good was the excellent location just across the road from the sea and the beautiful sunsets from my windows. having fridge,microwave and dishwasher, dishes and comfortable bed and helpful staff.
