The double room was small and pillows were not comfortable. Taxis could never park in front of it and I had to walk to other streets to pick them up

The location of the TV's mounting is bad.. The space/passage between the Wall mount TV and the bed is too narrow.

Minute details would be: - descale the top shower head. I had to jiggle gently each rubber tip to have a nicer flow - consider a small hand towel on top of hair/face and body towels - consider a towel rack: the one formed by the under sink feet is too low: the body towel folded in half almost touches the floor

There was a sense of quality from furniture to accessories. You know nothing will fall apart if you touch it. The room was cosy and warm. The bed was perfectly made and perfectly firm. Nothing extravagant, but everything to the point.

Slight smell of sewers on occasions in bathroom. Restaurant not open at weekends which in late winter is unfortunate.

Breakfast was excellent as was location. Short walk to Vieux Port frontage with huge choice of restaurants and boat trips to bay, Chateau D'If etc. Hotel is adjacent major shops and markets and easy walk to the old town (Le Panier), Cathedral Major and Palais Longchamp. More strenuous but relatively easy walk up the Notre Dame de la Garde which is a must see.

Only improvement we suggest is the pillows, they were too thin like a paper.

Unlike some of the commentaries in here, we loved the neighborhood, there was even a local tunisian bazaar very nearby. Yes, you should be a little bit careful at night because sometimes there are beggars on street. But the area is generally safe, it is on the most central street of Marseille Vieux Port and very close to all public transportation. Room size was quite sufficient and even though there was noise from the street, you dont hear anything if the windows were closed.

The AC in our room didn’t seem to work. It was too hot and stuffy (even though it was January) and the windows were permanently locked. We were sure we just had to wait till it cooled down, but after a stuffy night we were told we had to request for a temperature change… on the reception. Still, it was the same. Also, a few hairs on the bathroom floor which weren’t ours.

Great location, pretty building, comfy bed, modern and tasteful decor. Good quality toiletries, housekeeping and change of towels every day. A lovely receptionist. Great market and cafes around.

Excellent mid-range hotel right in the thick of crazy Marseilles Very central location close walk to all the sites and CoursJulien. There is a gritty city outdoor market directly next to the hotelthat makes for some interesting people watching. Room was very quiet with windows closed. I slept vezwell. Tins of shopping options nearby.

A decent secure hotel right in the middle of a very interesting area and a perfect central location to explore the city from. Noise not an issue considering it sits directly next to t a fascinating outdoor market. Tons of eating and shopping options nearby. 7 minutes walk to the old port.

The room was EXTREMELY dusty. There was a definite need for an air purifier or something to remove the dust from the air. While the room was generally clean, this was the only negative. I was constantly coughing and sneezing because of the dust.

Great location, friendly staff, and a comfortable experience. I had the choice of a room with a shower or bathtub which was nice and received complementary beverages in my room.

The only little thing was, that we were not able to open the windows, but we understood the safety issue. Some streets close to the hotel might look scary if you are traveling alone, but we were 2 girls and we were okay, so it's just a point of view.

We had the most delicious breakfast in this hotel. The staff is very nice and friendly, the room was good, the hotel itself was nice, close to all the places we wanted to visit.
