There was not hair dryer. It is not close the metro station. Also you have to go with metro to city center about 1 hour.

It's very noisy we can hear everything from the neighbors and the noise from the gas and water connection which is inside the room. So whenever the Neighbors use water our turn on their heaters we can hear a huge noice and it's pretty much disturbing the sleep. Moreover, the Bed they provided was not nice if we move a bit it's making noise we believe it's pretty much old and there were no utensils or any other facilities to cook Plus no lift.

Comfortable bed, hot shower and warm room. Good place to stay 10 minutes walk to Gare du l'est train station.

There was a bad smell in the room, we had to keep the window open. Cleanliness of the furniture also needs improvement.

The neighborhood is nice, travel to Paris centre is easy and quick with RER. Heating was on, which was nice in the cool and rainy wearher.

We had to throw a bug out of the window that we would not have liked to find in a hotel. But apart of that we did not find any other symptoms of uncleanlyness.

The hotel is just a three minutes walk from the townhall of this cozy little suburb of Paris. We stayed there for a wedding that took place in the nearby townhall. So it was just perfect. Also we were granted a super early check-in without extra charge upon our arrival in the morning. We stayed for three nights and explored Paris in the following days. The connection of the suburb to the city center is great.

Minimum tea coffee arrangements....With hot kettle.

You can see on the map that it's quite far out, so although the hotel is close to the metro and trains, it still takes 45min-1h to get anywhere. I don't know about the higher floors, but on the first floor where we had our room there were ants everywhere even on the corridor. The room was absolutely okay, but on the corridor there was a very bad smell. Probably somebody was smoking, likely our neighbors because it wasn't always that bad so maybe just we were unlucky.

It's a nice hotel, the staff is very friendly and they filled all our requests. It was a nice stay. Also it's not too far away from transport links so it was quite easy in Paris terms to get around the city from there. There are nice and cheap (on Paris standards) restaurants nearby.

Nothing was really bad Decor in rooms needs updating. Some things were well worn.

Breakfast was a roll and a croissant. Would have preferred a couple of croissants. Limited choice. Location was ideal for me not far from the metro.

The smell in our room and bathroom was sickmaking, like an open sewer. Poor lighting on the stairs, the bathtowels literally were threadbare and tore when i used it. Not a great place I'm afraid, wouldn't stay there again

The young lady on the desk on our lst and last day was really lovely. Not much else to say, close to the railway station.

Hotel Moderne is far from being modern, as its name suggests. In reality, it falls short in several aspects. Firstly, the lack of showers is a major inconvenience, with only one available for the entire building. Additionally, each floor is equipped with just one toilet, which lacks a sink - a basic necessity. Furthermore, the hotel's location is quite distant from the city center, making it an unfavorable choice considering the price. For the same cost, one could easily find a more suitable Airbnb room without having to share a bathroom with dozens of other guests.

No lift. Not clean and no fans for air circulation. Felt suffocation at night. Found few bugs on the floor. Bathroom was so small.
