How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Diner disappointed me ..in quality quantity , 21 euro an horrible humbuger with very few french fries and a dish of 3 melon slices with 1 slice of Serrano ham, 7 euros so I do not raccomand to get dinner there, for the rest no p.
Place good for the price! room was big and very confortable a plus it was clean with café, tea and water in the fridge.

The swimming-pool was not filled yet. I presume it was due to the bad weather recently. There is nothing around, you cannot walk anywhere. You need a car to go to a shop or a restaurant etc.
The receptionist was helpful. The suite was big enough for a family of 4. There are toys for the kids inside and outside as well. You can play tennis and table tennis, too.

Pool not filled.
Bed was soooo comfortable.. Lovely spacious room, opened onto garden. Staff lovely and helpful.. Disappointed pool wasn't filled, but was filled on day we left.

The shower was slightly underpowered and the attachment damaged. The bed was a little hard
The hotel provided everything we needed for a comfortable stop over on our way across Southern France. When we arrived the staff were helpful and friendly and the room service risotto delicious. The room was a good size with the lavatory separate from the bathroom and everything was clean.

The main issue with this hotel is the location, do not book more than 2 nights unless you have a car!, there are bus connections nearby, but it is not easy to follow. The lack of competition means that the restaurant at the hotel is priced as if you are in a beautiful restaurant in the centre of Aix on Provence, but you are on the wrong side of an industrial estate in a provincial town. The hotel is clean, but rooms are rather out-dated and the corridors look like they could be up-graded, the hotel lacks design and continuity. This hotel should probably not be offered for leisure guests, except for short stays
the hotel is clean and rooms are spacious, but the style needs to be up-dated a bit. The Lobby does not make a good first impression. However the staff are wonderful and went out of their way to help, finding bus connections, ordering taxis. Food at the hotel is good, but over-priced unless you have the menu of the day. The hotel has a large pool and spacious and offers drinks, there are also some bowls and a small spa and gym, but not everything works

Very nice and comfortable stay. Close to Aix en Provance and Valensole aswell so very good base in Provance. The staff is always helpful. Very peaceful place.

The location near an industrial zone.
The room is big and the beds are new and very comfortable. It was a perfect place to home work. The swimming pool is big and clean.

This hotel may charge for early check ins, so definitely confirm before checking in a few minutes early. Otherwise, this hotel most certainly met our needs.
We had a large room that was clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is industrial, but is centrally located. We had a nice lunch and a very good breakfast before our departure. Restaurant staff was friendly and helpful. Parking lot was outside and very spacious for those driving larger automobiles.
