Good staff. Comfortable room. Breakfast ok. Nice bed. Nice shower. But... the sink was blocked, couldn't drain away. So no sink annoying. I should have asked for a room change but was too knackered

it was exceptionally hot weather while we were there and the fans in the rooms were ancient so practically useless. Sleeping was difficult - some better cooling solutions would help.

Our room was on the 2nd floor with a small balcony, looking out towards the park and the Casino. The hotel is located on a quiet road near the Casino/Spa. There's free parking on the other side of the park, which is only a short distance away. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant and had a delicious meal. Breakfast was good too.

We stayed 1 night over while driving through France. We did not have much expectations but still we like the place. Very quite and peaceful location despite being central. There is a cool, local bistro close by where you can have dinner. The lady in the reception did not speak English but she was enough kind. The cleanliness of our room was very well. The breakfast has enough variation. Overall it is an old but well-maintained building.

Very small room, sparkling clean but unimaginatively furnished and decorated. Lobby vestigial. Tea and coffee in room, but only paper cups available. Restaurant has an uninspiring menu (we decided to eat elsewhere). Breakfast OK but queue at the one coffee machine. Only on-street parking available in proximity.

Location: really central, just across the road from the casino and theatre, very close to the thermal baths, overlooking the central square, bars and brasseries within a few metres. Good wifi. Comfortable bed. Quiet after dark (not exactly bustling nightlife!)

The room was small and outdated, you can tell this hotel is an old glory, the windows and furniture in the room need replacement. Do not go on a heat wave, without aircon the heat is unbearable.

The hotel no longer has air con because it is broken and the new owners apparently haven’t bothered to repair it. There is an incredibly loud festival throughout the summer right outside the hotel which means that the “parking nearby” and “street parking” don’t exist. The road to the hotel was completely closed off, so you can’t even get near to drop off. We had to ask the police where to park and it was a 9 minute walk away in the Intermarché car park. With 3 children under 5 and lots of bags, this was so difficult. The hotel knows that it is cut off on these evenings, but did nothing to pre-warn or help us. In fact the receptionist pretended that it had come as a surprise to her too! The festival was brass bands and rock bands and continued until 1am. It was impossible to sleep because of the noise and because we couldn’t open our windows, so it was unbearably hot. Our bedroom walls were actually vibrating with the music, even with the windows closed. The hotel’s attitude was that it was nothing to do with them! Had we been forewarned, or known that there was no parking nearby, no air con and no chance of sleep until well after midnight, we would have changed our booking and found another hotel. We had booked two family rooms and the carpets were dirty at the edges and the wardrobe door was hanging off in one of the rooms. There are already 4 other complaints along the same lines as ours for the month of August and in each case the management has said they were sorry and would take the comments on board, but treated our complaint as if it was surprising to them!
