Great location and the rooms with sea view are worth the extra money. Easy walk into La Cotiniere which is required for meals other than breakfast. Room was compact but had a good shower and comfortable bed.

A small thing, but the hotel wifi is weak so if staying connected is important to you bear this in mind, as phone signal was also poor too. But the phone and Internet signal on the island isn't really the fault of the hotel so I can't mark them down for that!

The hotel was clean, our suite was large and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Well situated, very short walk to the beach and a nice stroll to the harbour for a variety of shops and restaurants. Dog friendly is also a massive plus for us.

It seems a shame that owners can't take their dog on a lead to the grass area by the pool as it meant that we had to separate. Not so convivial and a bit frustrating with a well behaved dog. Also, the lights on the porch were on with no means to turn off so interfered with sleep.

It was a pretty place to stay and nice to be near the sea although te beach is quite stony. Which can not obviously be changed. Nice to walk.

Île de Lumière is a very nice boutique hotel located directly at the sea. Some rooms have sea view. The restaurants in La Cotinière can be reached by foot.

Somewhere to dry wet swim kit please

Beautiful spot on a sandy promontory, about a 10 minute walk from the port of La Cotiniere. We picked a room on the ocean side of the hotel. It was quiet, private, peaceful and unfussy. The sound of the sea, beautiful views, especially in the mornings, and the way each room has its own little terrace, from which you could step directly out onto the dunes, were especially lovely. We appreciated the storage spaces, the huge bed with plenty of pillows and the modern walk-in shower.

This is more of a motel and the sign outside says so. It is advertised as being on the beach but there is a huge slab of rock going out to the sea and not much sand, don’t be fooled by the photographs! The hotel is a good 20 minute walk to the centre and there is only one restaurant close by.

Recently refurbished, the rooms are beautifully decorated with sea themes. Some overlook the sea but there is a dip and dune between so don’t expect too much. Others overlook the lovely tended gardens and pool. The breakfast was delicious and the staff helpful and friendly. English spoken.

Due to rocks it is not possible to swim or spend much time on the beach in front of the hotel. But there are plenty of nice beaches to drive to. It is understandable but you cannot bring your pet to the pool area or into the restaurant (though you can eat breakfast outside with your pet).

The hotel was very comfortable, met all of our needs and is a very good place to bring a pet. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is possible to walk to a town with many restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend.
