The only improvement that we would suggest is to have vegetarian options on the menu.

It‘s a very cozy, relaxing and beautiful place. The staff is very friendly and the food and the wine were delicious.

When we arrived they said the restaurant was full, we couldn't have dinner there. there was only one table of 2 people having dinner. what they meant is they didn't have an open restaurant, food was cooked only for guests that had previously booked and dinner was made before hand. I don't like when its advertise there is a restaurant when in reality there is no open restaurant only a kitchen that will cook something if you let them know in advance. And I like less when they say "restaurant is fully booked" and you realise there is only 2 people having dinner that night. They should say the truth instead of putting excuses. Same happened with breakfast, if we wanted to have breakfast, We had to choose at night so they would prepare it for the next morning.

The views from the room and the surroundings of the hotel were amazing.

not much to dislike, breakfast was a bit disappointing and the outside area leading to pool area could be tidied up and made use of.

beautiful and peaceful, loved watching the beavers and the goat and sheep, not forgetting the friendly swan. we had an excellent dinner.

we were informed the day before arrival that the restaurant was closed due to illness. reception booked us a meal on a place 1( minutes away . however there were people eating in the restaurant on the evening we stayed( we were able to see them from our room! )

The only small comment is there was some road noise but it wasn’t intrusive in our room .

the hotel is in a beautiful location . The swimming pool and sunbeds were very welcome . The hotel was easy to access from the A10 .

good very good but staff always make me feel guilty when I asked for something like a drink before dinner as there is no bar. there is no sense of initial warmth and welcome from the staff and we have been there 2 or 3 times. the sheep and the goat on site do offer a loud welcome!

The place felt a bit old and dated. It definitely needs renovation our room had damp patches on the ceiling , fading wall paper etc. It has a 70s feel which to be fair is part of the charm but it was a time warp

the location on the river with the animals on the opposite bank ; Nutria ( Otters), Sheep and swan. The food was really great - traditional French cuisine well executed. Our room was large and roomy

We had dinner, it was ok, tasted well but nothing special and rather expensive. We didn’t feel it reflected the price at all

Beautiful little hotel with large spacious room, pretty decoration and very good beds.It’s location is somewhat difficult because it is nowhere near. We arrived with a full car and did not like yo go out searching for a place to eat. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant on the terrace, a lovely spot.
