This property has what is likely in excess of 1000 square feet of space. Two bedrooms, an office, a living room, a separate kitchen and two modern bathrooms. The apartment is in good to excellent condition; we did however, incur some non deal-breaking issues which we communicated to the owner so that these can be rectified for future renters.

The location is perfect. It is within a short walk to the arena, restaurants and shopping of this historic Roman downtown.

The appartment could host 2 couples. It was superb, fully renovated, extremely well furniture with expensive books and equipments. The building must have been elected before 1700. The two disadvantages were that in was at the second floor without elevator and the common stairs weren't renovated. But finally I feel lucky to staying there.

I’m particularly bothered by clubbing noise, thumping music and such. This was troubling until 12–1AM one night (not all nights).

This place is gorgeous! If you appreciate beautiful decor, make a reservation here quick :) The host Jean-Daniel was responsive to requests and very kind about a laundry question.

We had quite a lot of luggage and as the location is in the heart of the pedestrian area of old Nimes there isn't a good way to park close to drop the bags. The closest parking was a 5 min walk. If you have a sleeping baby and 3 bags to carry through 5 min of pedestrian-only streets, it can be quite a challenge.. Also the building is beautiful but old so no elevator of course it's on the 3rd floor (2eme etage). The last weird thing was this huge dead cactus right at the entrance which gave a weird vibe.

This is a beautiful apartment with everything you could possibly need to make your stay in Nimes a treat. Spacious, super clean, high quality fixtures and fittings, superb location, and the owner Jean-Daniel is the best host we have ever worked with. He is super prompt with responses and was keen to ensure that we enjoyed a very good experience- he made restaurant reservations for us and gave us lots of suggestions for things to do and places to see. He deserves a star for his thoughtfulness and kind approach. We feel fortunate to have stayed in such a beautiful apartment in the heart of Nimes. Thank you

Lack of storage in bedrooms, not an issue living out of a case for a couple of nights but could be a problem if staying for longer.

The apartment is so much bigger than it looks in the images and is in a superb location in the heart of Nimes. It is beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need for a short or longer stay. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, very welcome air-conditioning in the bedrooms as well as the lounge. The en-suite bathrooms for each bedroom made this perfect for two couples travelling together. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing, I adored it all and had an amazing stay.

This place is a gem!!! I adored staying in this stunning apartment which was lovely and cool even though it was 33 degrees outside. The interior design is gorgeous, the layout is beautiful, the beds and bed linen are so comfortable (so much so that I noted the name of the bed linen so I can buy it myself) and the shower is fabulous. To add to that, the kitchen is really well stocked with the little bits and pieces that make all the difference to a stay (tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oils, salt and pepper etc.), providing that extra level of detail that made my stay exceptional! The bluetooth speakers are a nice touch too and the welcome pack (available in both English and French) was full of useful tips, including where I could leave my luggage post checkout before catching my train. An exceptional apartment and exceptional hospitality. There's a washing machine and tumble dryer too so I was able to travel home with a case full of clean clothes. The location is also perfect!

Slightly noisy bar nearby especially late at night.

Apartment was spacious, voluminous and finished to a very high standard. 2 bedrooms each with en-suite is a big plus. Location was central and therefor perfect. Would have no qualms recommending to others.

one bedroom did not have any furniture besides the bed. there was a closet, but not a space to just put stuff out. it needed a small table on the right side of the bed. more clothes hangers needed kitchen was well stocked but cooking pans were scratched and needed handles.

the apartment had 2 separate bedrooms and bathrooms, it was spacious and comfortable. it’s modern design showed a thoughtful process of furnishing this apartment is better than the advertised photos.

It's a very lively neighborhood so expect some noise from nearby bars on Saturday evenings. The double windows cover most of the noises but not all.

Beautiful very spacious flat furnished and decorated with taste. Jean-Daniel is a great host, swiftly replying to your queries and eager to share with you his tips for restaurants and things to do in Nîmes.

The building is old as are the steps. Anyone with a walking disability might find them too much to climb, but they do add charm to the place.

The location was excellent as it was very central and all major sites were within walking distance. There is sufficient parking in the surrounding garages. Aside from the excellent accommodations, the host sent us the apartment information book beforehand. It is by far the best one I have seen in my many travels. I would highly recommend this apartment.

On Friday and Saturday nights the noise from the bar below is very loud - although it really didn't spoil our stay I think it would be difficult for children or light sleepers to get a good night sleep.

This is a beautiful apartment, right in the centre of the old town in Nimes. The host was very helpful and there are some nice touches around the apartment - universal plugs, bluetooth speakers, coffee and wine etc. The little booklet was very helpful with restaurant and bar recommendations. The furniture was very stylish and the beds were very comfortable.
