Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SpainNot far from a restaurant. Painless checkin and checkout. Hotel has its own car park which is better than parking on the street. Hotel is located just off from an industrial area but Google know where it is and how to get there. Close to the main road to Tours so easy access, the downside to that was some road noise.

United KingdomDated, tired, sticky surface tops with peeling paint, antiquated beds reminiscent of 1960’s boarding school standards and poor sound insulation from neighbours above and aside, who nearly managed to drown the noise of the traffic on the nearby road. No blackout curtains on the window.
Maybe the welcome, being polite rather than friendly of interested. Quite a highlight considering the rest.

Parking no problem and hotel close to the highway but far enough not to hear the noise. Very nice price for such a room and hotel! Excellent hotel when in transit for this price.

United KingdomThe plumbing system, whenever someone uses the toilet flush it appears to affect the entire building. This woke us many times during our 8 hour stay. The room is a cross between a ship's cabin and a prison cell. Only one plastic garden chair in the double room.
The location has plenty to offer in terms of eating and drinking with Tesla Superchargers very local. There are also plenty of local shops. The room was clean. The room was a reasonable size for the money.
